Chapter 3 Chelsea POV

" What do we do now little demon ? " Adam asked, coming up behind me, his arms snaking around my waist and his nose going to my neck.

We had woken up this morning, and today I had the pleasure of meeting the children of the council. Not much like children now. They were all adults too, their parents looking the same age as them. I watched Sophie and Dante's daughter Sappire , so much like her mother, she was such a gentle soul, until you p*ssed her off them. Her father's temper came out. A vampire witch, she was the mix of both her parents. A very powerful being indeed. She looked over her shoulder as her mate Sven came up behind her Hailey and Coles kid again, a vampire witch taking after his parents.

My eyes drifted to Henly and Luna, Luna, the child of Anya, and Darius, a Hybrid and a witch. Henly the child of Killian and Lisa a vampire witch , I smiled at the fact the fates had placed them all with each other. Even the throuples two sons, Hanley and Theadore, was mated to Kristophes daughter Abigail. The two sons may as well be twins even though born to different mums. Cage, Dellas and Valarie had been allowed two children, one per female. They were conceived and born on the same day, both women birthing their sons within minutes of each other. The council had a theory that they were actually twins. They were the spit double of their father. It came as a shock when they shared the same mate too. Both of them stood behind Abigail like guards as she talked to her parents.

I chuckled lightly. The fates definitely had fun with these when it came to pairing and creating new beings that were powerful.

" We start looking at where he is hiding " I told Adam.

" And where would a god go to hide ? " He murmured.

I Darius the hybrid look our way, he was observant that I could already tell.

" In plain sight " I told him.

" So are you saying he will be here ? Somewhere on earth ? " Jett says, coming up beside us. I looked to my left. We were gaining everyone's attention now.

" My father tells me he left his godly plane, and he has not been seen or sensed in any of the others. So, yes, I believe he is here somewhere " I told Jett.

" If he is, would we not have sensed him here ? " Sapphire asks, walking over.

I shook my head " He is good at masking himself, walking among the living. It is his job after all. Or was, he used to come to earth to carry the souls back personally, even watch as they took their last breaths in their mortal shells. Uncle loved to watch as life slipped away, when he got banished to his realm. The souls had to find their own way there. Helped along by a spell, of course. But one of his abilities is to go undetected " I told them. I saw Arakas pop back into the room, Leianna and a man that I instantly knew was my nephew. He looked just like Arakas, but with his mothers hair. He looked directly at me, and I felt my heart speed up. So much I have missed. I smiled at the man, and he smiled back, flashing pearly white teeth, he threw me a wink and then strutted across the room to Sven and Henly. I couldn't help but laugh at just how much he even acted like my brother.

" So if he is undetectable, how do we find him ? " Anya asked.

I looked at Arakas and pointed at him. " My brother, a long time ago, thought he would like to give it a go, being death. He and my uncle actually got along for some time. While he was under our uncle's mentorship, he learned how to follow him around, much to uncle's displeasure". Everyone looked at Arakas.

" Anything you have not been part of that is messed up ? " Dante asked him.

My brother just smiled at Dante. " We all have pasts. Don't forget I can read your thoughts my dear friend, you were no saint before you point that judgey look at me ".

" Your past is more than most people, my love " Leianna stated. Arakas looked down at her a playful smile on his face" You love it baby, don't pretend you don't " he growled.

My brother and Leianna disappear, and it is my nephew that speaks. " I do not wish to see or hear where that was heading " he states, bringing his hand back down. Everyone laughs and Sven pats him on the back with a look of sympathy. My guess is that isn't the first time he sent them away before he saw too much.

He starts to walk over to me and when he gets close he holds his hand out for mine. I handed it to him, and he kissed the back of it. " Aunt Natassa, my name is Nate, but you knew that already, it is nice to finally meet who my father named to similar to " he smiled. I rolled my eyes and pulled him in hugging him to me. " So much charm, just like him. But families hug, we are not so formal " I laughed as he hugged me back.

I sensed his magic, and he was powerful, taking after his dad. Was probably more powerful before I gave Arakas his magic back.

He pulled back and kissed my cheek. " No mate ? " I asked him. And he shook his head. " No, I sense her close though, just a feeling I have had that she is soon to arrive " he told me.

" Won't she be a lucky girl " Kyle said from behind me I looked back smiling and he was giving my nephew a nice appraisal , much to Liams displeasure. That was when the jinn's popped in. Scaring Kyle half to death, but the over-excited Jinn clapped happily. " Finally, someone just like me " I knew him as Fero. Tiron turned up beside him, rolling his eyes" By that he means someone who likes to perv over other men a lot ".

He stuck his hand out to Liam" I sympathize " he stated. Liam shook his hand and smiled. Kyle laughed " Hey I am not usually bad, but being here, damn, someone put fine in the water around here " he grinned. Fero laughed, fanning himself " Why do you think we stayed ? " He said to Kyle and I could already see they would be trouble together.

Nate cleared his throat." So, you were saying about dad ? " He asked.

" Yes, he can track him, learned years ago" I confirmed.

" Then, after we know where he is ? " Dante asks.

" We feel the wrath of his monsters, play defense and try to not let him manipulate any of our minds. We defeat his monsters first, send them back where they belong and lock them down there. Then we go after him when he has no back up " there was no real plan. Not really. I knew the spell that could banish him back. I needed to work with the witches in the room. First I needed to go check on Amber. She had yet to come out of her room and meet everyone. We arranged to meet for dinner. We were in Dante's castle for now. Apparently it was a tradition, all the battle plans were drawn around the table, and then it was in the cinema room Dante had built, for milkshakes and dessert. The lonely girl in me was crying with joy.
