Hoping out of Kades truck, I'm not looking forward to this job. There's a lot to do, a fence plus a pond with a bunch of f*****g greenery to be planted around it. We're going to be here for a couple days if not more. Ugh. I put on my belt of tools and head over to the bundles of fencing planks. I slip in my earphones I begin taking down the old fence.

“Hey it time for lunch.” Kade calls over a few hours later. I got the fence down and started rebuilding it at the other end of the yard so he could get the suppies in for the pond.

I return my tools to my belt and grab my bottle of water as I head over to him. We head over to truck and both grab new water from the cooler.

“I knew this job was going to be a b***h, but fuuuuck” Kade says shaking his head after pouring water over his face.

“ Yeah I wasn't looking forward to this job at all.” I reply doing the same.

We hop on the truck and head to his favorite lunch spot.

Maria smiles as the bell chimes above our head as we walk in. We eat herr so often we don't even order anymore, Maria just brings us our plates and drinks.

“So” Kade says, wiping his face after inhaling two tacos.

I raise my eyebrow as I finish off my taco.

“ You and Victoria?” His eyes are twinkling.

“Noooo?” I don't know where he's going with this but he looks like he's up to something.

“What?” He laughs picking up another taco. “Her birthday is coming up.” He throws out the comment like bait.

“Oh it is?” I pretend like this is news to me.

He gives me a knowing look.” I have an idea for a gift.” He says the mischief returning to his features.

“Oh yeah?”

“Yup” he says popping the p.

“Do I wanna know?” I ask picking up another taco.

“You should.” He says templing his fingers, “cuz it's you.”

Chocking I grab my drink and chugging most it.

“What the f**k man? Me?!?” Did he really just say that?

“It's perfect dude. You're exactly what she needs” he says like it's not completely crazy. “Let me explain?”

I nod finishing off my drink.

“Victoria, is independent, strong, she's the kind of woman that knows what she wants and won't take anything less. Her heart is guarded. She won't let any one man in, so why not two?” He shrugs and grabs the last taco on his plate.

“So why not two? What the f**k does that mean?”

“Two? Two lovers? Two men giving her it all?” He says wiggling his eyebrows.

“And what makes you think she'd be down for that?”

“So you're not opposed?” Kade points out rubbing his hands together.

“What's the point? She's not going to go for that?”

“Oh she will. Girls a freak.” Kade smiles like the Cheshire cat.

“Wait, so you're already sleeping with her?”

“Well, yeah. For a couple months. She needs the release. As least that's what she says. She won't date or do a relationship. She just wants d**k and orgasms.”

“So there's no feelings?” I don't believe a word.

“Oh there's feelings! They're just ignored.”

“How's that possible? V is more than just a f**k buddy.”

“Whoa, that's not what I'm saying. I know she has feelings, she just rather pretend it's a f**k buddy situation.”

“What does that mean?” He's not making any sense.

“ Look, I'd do anything for Victoria. Anything! Including pretending that we just f**k, not like she could do that. It's unspoken.” Kade stands up from his chair and grabs his plate and cup. “How much do you know about Luke?” He says before walking away.

Once we're back in the truck I turn to Kade, “I know he cheated, she'd caught him not long after she started working at The Warehouse. They would go through really bad rough patches and then she'd be fine for a while and then she'd catch him cheating again or whatever and they'd fight, she'd come to work looking like s**t, and then she'd be fine. It was a never ending cycle.”

“ Yup, that about clears it up. He cheated a lot. But was the best husband when he wasn't. Like a drug addict. She was addicted to him and he was addicted to all that was sex.”

“ Wasn't he your best friend or something?”

“He was! Luke was my best friend since kindergarten. We got into all kinds of trouble, he was like a brother to me. He really was.”

“How can you say that when he did what he did?”

“ Oh no as a husband Luke suuucked. And no I don't agree with what he did, he f****d her up in the head. But he loved her, in his own way, and that's not for me to judge. You have no idea how many times I thought she was going to leave him. How many times I hoped she's leave him. She never did though.”

“Ok oh wise Kade.” I can't help but roll my eyes he cannot be serious.

“No man I'm serious, she needs more than one man.” His eyes are no longer twinkling with mischief, his face is like stone,” Do you think I want to share? She gorgeous, and funny and one in a f*****g million. She deserves everything this world can offer plus a hell of a lot more. Yeah, her life could have been better. She should of gotten the perfect marriage, with the bells and whistles. But I swear to God you can ask her, she wouldn't change a damn thing. She doesn't want pity, so I'm not giving it to her. She wants to f**k like rabbits till the sun comes up, damn right I'm giving it to her. She doesn't want a boyfriend or a husband, fine. She needs me to fix her faucet, fine. Needs me to get rid of her perverted brother in law, done. lI will do…or not do..whatever she wants. Ok?”

“”Whoa! Alright man, I didn't mean to offend you.” His words were heavy and they sank to the bottom of my stomach.

Kade loves her, like really loves her. Loves her so much he's ignoring it because it's not what she wants.

After a few deep breaths, he runs his hands down his face and looks at me again.

“I just want to give her a great birthday. And I honestly think double teaming her is what she needs.” He smiles again. “I know you like her, I know, I've seen the look on your eyes when we talk about her. So what do you say?”.

“You're crazy.” I laugh looking out the window.

“Maybe, but it's worth it. So what do you say?”

"I'll think about it." I tell him as her pulls ip to the job site.

I put my headphones in as get back to work.

I think about Kades offer. I always dreamed about sleeping with V, not quiet in a threesome though. I know I couldnt do a "just s*x" kind of relationship though with her, I have way too many feelings for her. Then again so does Kade, and he manages.

Am I really considering this?
