Monday | 1:00 pm Ellaville Warehouse (Deja's p.o.v) The following morning I had immediately met up with Seth. Since I had no idea where Dylan was I needed him and a few others. "Seth,Westly is back in town." I started running my hands through my hair, I was still in my sweatpants and T- shirt from earlier, I had forgotten to change this morning, I could barely sleep last night. The image of Ryann sitting at the bar, trying to 'get to know' Sanai kept replaying in my head, why did I feel a way about it? Seth had added a couple pictures on the chalkboard clipping them to the string that hung on it. He had a thing with the photo and string method from those detective series or podcasts. I have no idea why he listened to them. On a good note is that we know that Ryann is back in town, all we need is Delina then we're good to go. That was the issue though, we had no idea where Delina was or where she was staying. The only person who knew that was Ryann. "No updates on Dylan?" Seth asked but I shook my head no, I sat on the rickety wooden table, the atmosphere wasn't terrible, though it wasn't clean either. Dust surrounded the area, bits and pieces of Debri were scattered everywhere. I had looked down at the photos scarred on the table before I looked up at Seth, he was put into a chokehold, a guy behind him had wrapped his arm around his neck bringing him against the wall. I had grabbed the gun from off the table and shot it at the guy, after maybe two or three fires he had fallen to the ground, Seth had picked himself up but put his hands up in surrender. "I f*****g dare you to move..." I was familiar with the voice behind me. Of course it was Ryann. How did she even find me? I could feel a cold object pressed against my head, the sound of a trigger clicking. A couple other people had entered the room surrounding the area making sure no one came in or out. "So how's the little pity party?" She grabbed her phone from her pocket, unlocked it and swiped on an article, my face the first image and the rest was info about me and the new CEO promotion. "Enjoying the fame I see?" She asked, then chuckled, pressing the gun against my head harder. It hurt for a period of time but I didn't have time to think about that now. Ryann had continued swiping on her phone the jealousy in her actions the more she swiped the more aggressive her force had gotten. "I am enjoying the fame actually..." She snickered, sitting her phone at her side. "Where's Dylan..." I mumbled looking around the room for something to grab, but found nothing. Seth was gone also. Where the hell did he go? "Tch...you think I'm just gonna tell you?" She asked with a chuckle. "What did you do with him..." One of the members had lifted up a tablet in front of me holding up video surveillance of Dylan, he was sprawled out on the ground surrounded in the pool of his own blood. I bit down on my lower lip, the frustration and agony fulfilling me. I wasn't sure how to respond really. It was all too much to process. "You wanted to know, now you know." I had quickly turned around knocking the gun out her hand, I smacked it away from her, shoving her to the ground. She had tried to push me off her but failed to do so. I reached for a piece of the chair on the ground and wacked her with that. She managed to grab ahold of the stick and hit me back with it but added with much more force. She shoved me back on the ground and hit me again. "You just never know when to shut the hell up." She had hit me with the more beaten up side of the stick. Again. And again. And again. My vision became blurry until eventually I saw nothing anymore. The ground was cold, the air was cold, I wanted to open my eyes but I couldn't bring myself to do so. I heard muffled talking before I heard nothing at all. Not even the sounds of a pin drop. Monday | 2:30 pm Ellaville Warehouse (Deja's p.o.v) I cracked my eyes open coughing here and there, nothing but pain radiating throughout my head and my body. I tried to lift myself up, though it was no use, I felt weak and limp. I coughed again turning myself over, my head throbbing in the process. I couldn't even think straight. Whatever I thought of became a small blur in the back of my mind. I laid here for a couple more minutes until I had pushed myself up grabbing onto the table for support. The pain worsened in my head the more I moved, I needed to be cautious on my whereabouts. I had stood up looking around the area, no sign of anyone, nor Seth, I started to panic a bit realizing Seth wasn't around nor in sight. After what I saw happened to Dylan I couldn't shake the feeling they'd do the same to him. I had sluggishly walked over towards a small bathroom not far from where I was lying down. I pushed open the door and walked inside the bathroom , I leaned into the sink and looked in the cracked broken mirror. Blood had trickled down my face, I placed my finger on the blood running down my face and looked at the blood on my fingers. I needed to wrap the wound up immediately. I had scrambled around the bathroom for a towel or something to wrap my head up with. I'd probably need a few stitches, nothing too big. I had found a clesnish towel and placed it around my head holding it there for support. It would have to do until I got the care I needed. I had left the bathroom and reached into my pocket to grab my phone but it wasn't there. Nor was my wallet. So she took my phone and my wallet. I had started walking outside the warehouse looking around for the car I had driven in, luckily that was still there. I had walked over towards my car checking my pockets once again, there was nothing in my pants pocket but In my jacket pocket I found my keys in there. I was lucky enough they forgot to take my keys. I had grabbed the keys out of my jacket pocket and had walked over towards the car unlocking and opening the car door. I turned on the ignition and started the car, though I realized the gas tank was almost empty. I leaned back in the seat sighing for a moment, I was irritated and still in alot of pain. I had driven the car onto the road and started heading towards the city. I didn't know anyone else to contact besides Liv. The only issue is I didn't have any idea what her number was by heart. I decided to drive home, considering that was the best decision to make so far. I had parked the car in the driveway quickly getting out and heading inside the house, so far everything looks in place and in order. Then why did the vibe feel so off. I had pushed open the door looking inside then closing the door behind me. I started walking towards the living room before hearing a name call out for me. "Ms Morris!?" The woman called out, she sounded like she was upstairs. Is that Sanai? Why is she here? I had stood at the bottom of the stairs watching her come downstairs with a box in her hand. Though before she could say anything she had nearly dropped it, a look of anxiety and concern fulfilled her face. "Morris you're bleeding..." She had walked over and sat the box down on the ground, she had cupped my face looking at the dried up blood on the side of my face. Well that's a smart way to approach me. I had so many questions. How did she even get in...? She had led me to the bathroom and sat me down on top of the toilet. Sanai rummaged through the cabinets in the bathroom searching for a first aid kit. After a couple minutes of searching she had found one and placed it on the counter top opening it. She scanned my face. then my head, observing the wound. I bit down on my lip in response to the pain. "Jesus what happened." Sanai had put on a pair of gloves and had looked inside the first aid kit, she grabbed a few cotton balls and cleaning products to wipe off my face, she lifted up my chin wiping the blood off my face. "I hit my head while doing someone else's yard work" She then moved onto the wound observing it. "You're lucky it isn't too bad, It's just bloody is all." "How do you even know the majority of this stuff?" She shrugged a bit, cleaning around the wound on my head. "My mother is a nurse. She cared for me a lot when I was younger, not too much now though, we don't talk as much as we used to." She laughed a bit while I listened. "That's nice I suppose." Sanai had continued to clean my wound, she then grabbed an ice cube coming back rather quickly. She placed the cold substance around my wound for a long period of time. I had no idea what she was doing until she had started sewing my head back together. I felt nothing but pain, though the ice did help a little. After a couple more pinches and zaps of pain Sanai was finished and covered the area up, she started to clean up the area and put the gloves in the trash can. I stood up helping her put everything away. "Thanks Sanai." "Ahh, don't mention it, I get it from the best you know?" She looked over at me smiling. "Glad to see your head is doing better." I replied leaving the bathroom, though Sania had glared at me. "I'll rip those stitches right out." I scoffed at her shutting the bathroom door behind me. "So I'm guessing you wanna watch me die?" Sanai had walked over to pick up the box on the ground. damn her curves. how unprofessional of me. I tried to find something else to look at, so I decided to walk over towards my bookshelf staring at the other half of books I had never read. "Oh Morris, My mom baked cookies to offer me the job as a thank you? No idea she just told me to give them to you." I nodded my head gently, taking the box and looking at the cookies inside. "These look pretty good, tell your mother I said thank you." Sanai smiled and went to grab her own car keys. "Well I should be heading out, Just wanted to check up on you." she replied, reaching into her bag and pulling out her car keys. "ah how nice of you" I replied while I had walked over towards her placing my hand on her chin, I brushed my thumb against her lower cheek. "Sorry there was something on your face." I backed away with a smirk on my face, I watched her as she touched her face before turning to leave. I watched and made sure she got in the car safely, all until I heard my phone ring, my office phone. I walked upstairs headed into the office going to pick up the phone. Once I did I picked it up and brought it to my ear. "Hello?" "Morris...Its me Seth..." I felt a glimpse of hope for a moment. "Im at the Ellaville Ruby Motel...With Westly and her members..." "Wait seth can you give me an—" He then hung up the phone. . . . When will that b***h surrender.
