Baron was mad with anger, he could not contain how he felt. So he got up from his chair and started pacing about in his office. Seth observed Baron under his keen eyes. " You try to calm down. For now Alicia is not your problem. What you should be talking about is how to get hold of your father's estate, since you are interested in it." These words got to Baron and he stopped pacing then drew his chair back and sat down. "At this point Seth, I am losing my mind. I need to act fast," Baron said. "Maintain your cool. Get married and grab your possession man," Seth told him. "That's the problem. I do not have anyone in mind. I can't just wake up one morning and get married," Baron responded. "Then you need to start searching. Just two weeks. It's not like you're getting married in the real sense. Just someone to pass as a wife. A marriage of convenience," Seth stated clearly. "Then I'll have to start searching. It's not as easy as you think. How on earth will I find a woman in two weeks?," he asked Seth. Seth bursts into laughter shaking in the process then he whipped the tears of mirth on his eyes. "You need to see your face right now. You're in for a ride man. Don't tell me you can't get a woman in such short notice. How about those women who flock around Baron glared at him. "That's not funny. Wipe that silly smile off your face. Those women are not worth it. I need someone that won't end up causing issues. Someone easy to control." Seth stroked his chin thoughtfully. " I think if you look hard enough, you'll find one. Are you joining us at the club tonight? It's been a long time since we partied hard. You need to let off steam. Baron was quiet for a moment as different thoughts crossed his mind. Then he spoke. " You're right. I will join you tonight." Seth grinned. " That's the spirit. I can't wait. I need to get going now, I have a meeting to attend. I only came to check up on you." Baron and Seth exchanged a handshake and then Seth left. Baron sat back on his chair and turned on his laptop to start working. The door opened, his P.A stepped in. She was corporately dressed. Her heels clicked on the tiled floor as she walked close to him. "Good day sir. I have the file you requested," the P.A said as she dropped the file on the table. Baron was glued to his laptop, typing without looking up. Then he responded. " I will go through it once I am done. Did you reach out to the agency to inform them that we need a new janitor?" "Yes I did," she replied. Baron looked up from his laptop, staring at his P.A "Listen, I do not want incompetent fools around me. Inform the agency that we want competent hands around here. Am I understood?" The P.A nodded in response. In just one week, Baron has fired up to five janitors who were assigned to clean his office. None of them has ever worked a full day without being fired by Baron. Silently, she hoped the next janitor would last up to a month at least because she was tired of informing the agency that they need a new janitor. "You can leave," he dismissed. His P.A left hurriedly, she feared that every second she spent with Baron in the same room would irritate him and possibly put her job at risk. It took her months to get this one and was not ready to lose her job. *** Delia got out of the elevator in the apartment building. She was so tired and hungry. She had spent the whole day in search of a job before she became penniless. Her boyfriend Elvis has been the one accommodating her ever since she was evicted from her apartment. She hoped to get a job then save up to rent another apartment. She wouldn't want to rely on her boyfriend. It's a good thing that Elvis was not around. She would have the house to herself without being disturbed. She needed the quietness to think about her joblessness and the way forward. Delia opened the door and walked in. The television was on.Her eyes darted around and she saw Elvis clothes scattered on the floor. On the table, there were two glasses of wine which were half drunk. She was surprised. Did someone break into the apartment? Elvis is supposed to be at work by this time of the day. The blaring sound from the television was getting on her nerves. So she turned it off. Her ears pricked at the sound she heard, it was coming from the bedroom. Hurriedly, she went close to the bedroom. The door was slightly ajar so she peeped inside. What she saw left her in shock. Right there in the bedroom was Elvis, kissing a woman as he continued to thrust hard into her. The woman kept moaning, both were lost in their world of ecstasy. To notice Delia's presence. Delia's shaking with anger so she stormed into the room and both of them came apart when they noticed her presence. "D Delia," Elvis stuttered. His face was stricken with guilt and shame. The woman quickly covered her face with the bedspread. Preventing Delia from seeing her face. But there was something familiar about her. Delia felt like a thousand knives had pierced through her. She loved Elvis and was hoping that their relationship would blossom into something permanent. "How could you do this to me Elvis?," she yelled. "Delia, it wasn't intentional. She seduced me. Please forgive me," Elvis pleaded. Delia sniffed as she tried hard to hold back the tears that were threatening to flow. "You bastard. You are not deserving of my forgiveness." Then Delia marched close to the bed and yanked the bedspread away from the woman, exposing her face. Delia gasped in shock when she saw who it was.
