721 Words
As they left the after-party, Rory felt a sense of relief wash over her. The premiere had been a success, and she was thrilled with the response to the movie. Ethan's presence by her side had made the night even more enjoyable, and she found herself feeling more and more comfortable around him. As they walked to the car, Ethan turned to her and smiled. "You were amazing tonight," he said. "I'm so proud of you." Rory smiled back at him, feeling a sense of gratitude. "Thanks," she said. "I couldn't have done it without you." Ethan's eyes locked onto hers, and for a moment, Rory felt like they were the only two people in the world. Then he smiled and opened the car door for her, and Rory slid inside, feeling a sense of excitement. As they drove through the city, Rory couldn't help but think about the night's events. She had been nervous about the premiere, but Ethan's presence had made her feel more at ease. She glanced over at him, and he caught her eye, smiling. "Hey," he said. "You okay?" Rory nodded, feeling a sense of comfort. "Yeah, I'm fine," she said. "Just thinking about tonight." Ethan nodded, his eyes returning to the road. "It was a great night," he said. "You deserve to celebrate." Rory smiled, feeling a sense of appreciation. "Thanks," she said. "I think I might just do that." As they pulled up to Rory's house, Ethan turned off the engine and turned to her. "Do you want me to walk you in?" he asked. Rory hesitated for a moment, unsure of what she wanted. But then she nodded, and Ethan got out of the car, walking around to her side. As they walked up the path to her front door, Rory felt a sense of nervousness. What would happen when they got inside? Would Ethan stay for a drink, or would he head home? When they reached the door, Rory turned to Ethan and smiled. "Thanks for tonight," she said. "You were amazing." Ethan smiled back at her, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "You're welcome," he said. "I'm glad I could be there for you." Rory felt a sense of flutter in her chest as Ethan's eyes locked onto hers. For a moment, she thought he might kiss her, but then he stepped back, smiling. "I'll see you tomorrow," he said. "Get some rest." Rory nodded, feeling a sense of disappointment. She had enjoyed Ethan's company tonight, and she didn't want the night to end. As she watched him walk back to the car, Rory couldn't help but wonder what the future held for them. Were they just fake dating, or was there something more between them? As she went inside and closed the door behind her, Rory felt a sense of uncertainty. She didn't know what tomorrow would bring, but she was excited to find out. She kicked off her shoes and walked into the living room, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. The premiere was over, and she had made it through. She smiled to herself, thinking about Ethan's charming smile and his kind eyes. As she poured herself a glass of water, Rory's phone buzzed with a text from Ethan. "Hey, just wanted to say goodnight," he wrote. "Sweet dreams." Rory smiled, "Aww, thanks for that," she wrote back. "You too." As she drifted off to sleep, Rory couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement about what the future held for her and Ethan. She knew that their fake relationship was just beginning, but she was eager to see where it would take them. The next morning, Rory woke up feeling refreshed and ready to face the day. She checked her phone and saw that Ethan had sent her another text. "Hey, want to grab breakfast together?" he asked. Rory smiled, feeling a sense of excitement. "Yeah, that sounds great," she wrote back. As she got ready for breakfast, Rory couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation. What would the day bring? Would she and Ethan grow closer, or would they just remain fake dating? As she headed out the door, Rory felt a sense of uncertainty. But she was ready to face whatever the day brought, as long as Ethan was by her side.
