After Sam called 911, he sped back to the Quarter. He had left the phone containing Duval"s confession atop Celeste"s crude coffin, but the one thing he couldn"t leave behind was his overwhelming sense of sorrow. He had managed to get a full confession out of Duval before the cop fell unconscious. He knew NOPD would get the names and details out of him later.
