THE LIES WITHIN ^⁠_⁠^(⁠◕⁠ᴗ⁠◕⁠✿⁠)

I woke up to the whirl sounds in the middle of the town only to realise that I had dosed off at work. Checking for the time was the first thing I thought of and I looked for my phone which showed me that it was already 10: pm in the night. Packed my things to go home because there was no way I was going to sleep in office but it was so scary outside. I struggled with the door which was stuck for a minute then it finally opened and I was finally out. the whole street was in deafening silence, it was like nobody had worked. I started walking towards the subway but my footsteps felt so loud, my heartbeat louder than drums and I could as well hear my breath. I had reached a parking yard and I saw lots of cars there so I went to check. Lights were on at the nearby pud but there seemed to be no one. I turned to continue with my journey home but my dress had got stuck somewhere between cars and a little pull couldn't bring it out. I put by bag down and now I was pulling it with both hands.On the first two tries I failed but on the last one I pulled it so hard that I fell on my bums. I really felt like crying out loud but I was so afraid of making any sound so I just had to bear with it and focus on standing up. I got support from the car beside me and stood up but after taking the first step I was on the ground again because I had stepped on my dress. I let out an angry shout but just then I heard something behind me. The air from it's breath was more than that from an electric fan. I turned slowly to look back and there it stood. It's eyes like lasers and teeth longer than everything. It opened it's mouth to swallow me but I couldn't do anything accept saying a silent prayer. I closed my eyes and got ready to die as a virgin in this life but was going to make sure I don't in my second Life.
