The next day

Sandra woke up in the office just hoping it was a bad dream, but it wasn’t that Sandra heard noise or the sides of the front doors, but before Sandra would go see what the commotion was, Sandra went to Mr. Tatura’s office to see if he was awake and as Sandra walked in, she found him sleeping on his couch. Sandra:”Mr. Tatura, there is something going on at the front door. Would you please come see what it is with me since you are the boss here? So when Sandra got no answer, Sandra remembered one time that Mandy had called David by his whole name. Sandra hoped it would work to wake David up. Sandra:DAVID LOUIS TATURA, GET YOUR ASS UP AND READY FOR WORK NOW! After Sandra said that, David jumped out of his skin, and it was so hilarious that she fell on the floor laughing and what David said was even more hilarious. David: Jezz mom, why is it only 9:00 in the morning and I don’t have to be at work till 10:00? After he said that, he looked up and saw that it was me. He turned so pale that Sandra thought he would get sick and die. David:Why in the f*****g world would you do that to someone who is asleep instead of talking to them? Why” Sandra:I did, but you didn’t budge, so I remember that one time when Mandy was really mad she called you by your first name, and I am not your mother. David:You sounded like her. You need me to be awakened from my sleep. Sandra: Well, there is a problem downstairs and a lot of noise coming from the doors, so I came here first to get you, and then I was going to have you check out what it is. Why would someone decide it’s a good idea to scare the living s**t out of someone who is asleep is way beyond him, but let’s just say David would get her back for this, but what is the question of the day? Let’s see what she needs. David: So you thought, since I’m the boss around here, that it would be a good choice to come get me and just wake me up with something going on in the front of the building. Sandra:Yeah pretty much, so you will come see what it is, so I don’t have to do it alone. David: Is it just me or are you scared of what you will see? But since you thought it would be a good idea to wake me up, I’ll go see what it is. When they got to the door, they both stopped in their tracts and looked at each other because the front door was completely covered in snow and ice, and it sounded like people were yelling and trying to get in but couldn’t. Sandra: So I guess we are stuck here with all this building until they can get us out and my poor dogs will starve to death. David: Don’t worry, I will get someone to take care of them while we are stuck here. They will be fine, plus I sent someone last night to feed them. When David said that he would find someone to take care of her dogs while she was stuck there, Sandra was over the moon and so happy that all she could do was cry, but not sad tears, but happy ones. David:Why are you crying? Why did I do something wrong or is it something I said that upset you? Sandra: No, these are tears of joy because, at least now, I know my dogs will be fine and thank you for sending someone to them last night. I am very happy that they got taken care of. David: You're welcome, but it looks like the doors are frozen shut, so the only way to get outside is by the roof, so let’s go see how bad it got throughout the night before we come up with a plan of how we are going to survive this. They both walked up the stairs, and it looked like the building was turning sideways the farther they made their way up. Sandra: We should not go up any further because look at it in front of us, it looks like all the weight of the snow collapsed the building's sides. David:You are right about how badly it was snowing last night. You're not very surprised, but this looks like it just happened because if we went up a few levels more we would be snowed under because my office should be right there. Sandra:Then you should be happy that I woke you up then, right, so do I get an apology or not? David: OK, I’m sorry I cussed you out about waking me up. OK, do you feel better now? Sandra:Yes very much, so thank you for that apology. After David apologized, they walked their way back down the stairs, then a lot of noise started coming from behind them and the building was coming down more, so both of them started to run away.
