Calling to all

929 Words
Mandy took out her phone and called her parents and told them to go to David’s workplace and told them that she would tell them why when they got there, but their reaction was more afraid of finding out that their baby boy was stuck in a collapsed building. Mandy: Mom, dad. Did you bring Troy and Drew with you or did you leave them with grandpa? Anne: We left them with your grandfather. Don’t worry now. Why did you call us down here? Mandy:Mom David, he is trapped in his building that collapsed because of how bad the snowstorm we had was. I’m sorry, but we are doing everything we can to get them out. When Mandy said that David was stuck in the snow, the tears in her mom’s eyes made Mandy feel like she was the worst person in the world, but the worry about Mandy's dad's eyes was more concerning to see. When Trevor heard that his only son was trapped in the building that he had built from the ground, Trevor had a lot of worries in his mind that no one could see, but the thing that bugged Trevor the most was that Mandy had said to them what she had meant by that. Trevor:Mandy, I want you to be honest with me and tell me what you meant by them and who else is in that building with David now. Mandy: Dad David's secretary, Sandra, is there with him, and I’m worried about her because Sandra’s family didn’t believe me when I said she was stuck inside the building with him. Her own mother won’t come to be here for her. Anne:Mandy, that is a horrible mother and parent. " If they don’t believe something their child says, should you tell her what happened? Mandy: Yes, but all she said was that she didn’t believe me and told her that she would never believe that she was sexually assaulted by somebody. That’s what she said to me. After Mandy was done speaking, Anne and Trevor looked at each other and took out their phones and called all the people that they both knew to help get them both out of the building. Anne, Trevor: We are calling everyone. After they both did that, a bunch of cars pulled up to the place and, of course, Trevor and Anne had all the people that they both knew come and help. Sandra and David were going so fast that Sandra slipped out of David’s hands and went down and into a pile of some kind of metal that she didn’t know what it was, but had a sharp pain in her side. Sandra:David, are you there? I need help. Please, if you are there, say something. Please, I’m scared. And after that, Sandra didn’t know what had happened, but she had passed out. David was going so fast that he couldn’t stop, but in a split second Sandra was gone. He had lost her and David had to find her, but when he came to the bottom, David hit his head and passed out, but after a while, David woke up to hear someone yelling for help and a lot of noise around him. David:Sandra, if you keep yelling, I will be able to find you. Come on, keep yelling. After that, there was nothing but quiet and silence, but David wasn’t going to give up on finding Sandra, so David just followed to where he heard the yelling from and just continued in that direction until David saw Sandra in a pile of metal. David:Sandra, wake up. I’m here. I’m so sorry I lost my grip, and you are gone. Please wake up. David was just sitting there crying and trying to wake her up, but nothing was working, but she was still alive, which was good. Mandy:Dedrick, what are the chances that they are still alive and breathing on their own? I want the truth and not a lie. Please be honest with me. Dedrick:The chances of all the crashing and falling furniture and the billions of pounds of snow are very slim. For them to still be alive there is slim, but we can't lose hope. I just broke down crying and hugged the life out of my husband until I heard something breaking. Mandy:What’s breaking out over there, Dedrick? Go and come back and tell me please. I need to know what’s happening. Dedrick wished he could give something to Mandy that would bring David back to them, but the only way to do that was by getting him out alive for her. Dedrick:What happened over here, Trevor, what happened? Trevor: We broke a sheet of ice off of the snow, but did you see this through the window? Dedrick: Yes, it’s a hole, so what do we do now? Mandy is going crazy thinking that something happened to David and Sandra, so please let’s get to work. Dedrick is right. Both our wives have been scared and think something has happened, but how do you get through this without falling into the hole? Tractor:I have an idea if we should get safety gear and, that way, when we don’t fall into the hole, we will be safe. Dedrick: That will work as long as there are two at a time, and we will be done by Christmas morning, so let’s get to work. As Dedrick went around shouting orders, Trevor walked back to the girls and hugged them both and hoped that both of those kids would be fine.
