Sandra’s dream

939 Words
Sandra woke up to find herself in her own bed and looked at the time, and Sandra realized that she was late for work, which surprised her, so Sandra grabbed her phone and called the office, but there was no signal. Sandra:Luna, Leo, come get your food! They came running towards her, and Sandra was so happy to see them because they were the best thing in her life. Sandra:You guys know I had a dream that my work building had collapsed, but now I see that it was just a bad dream. When she said that, Sandra got a sharp pain in her gut, so Sandra looked down to see a piece of pipe sticking through her gut and Luna and Leo had disappeared from front of her. Sandra:Leo, Luna, where did you go? You know that you can’t run off from me! After that, it was just complete darkness all around her. Sandra was scared of what was inside it, but then she heard someone yelling for her, so Sandra tried to yell back but failed. Sandra: I’m over here. Please help me, I have a pipe in my gut. Please help me! But it was like the person couldn’t hear Sandra yelling for help, so she gave up, and Sandra knew that her family would never come, and all Sandra could hear was someone yelling her name. Mandy was sitting in the snow when Dedrick came and sat next to her and just rubbed Mandy's back as a way to calm her down. Mandy: How’s the progress going on the snow that is covering the building? Dedrick:Slow, but we should be done by Christmas morning. We just have to be careful of where we step. Mandy: OK, go and continue to help them and get them out safely, but I have a feeling we will need to have an abundance here. As the sound got closer to Sandra, she was able to close her eyes and hope to wake up from this nightmare that was happening around her and the pipe sticking through Sandra's gut would be gone. David was able to uncover Sandra from all the metal that was on top of her body and she had a long piece of pipe sticking through her gut, but it looked like it didn’t hit anything important, but it was bleeding out, so David tore the sleeve of his shirt and wrapped it around her body, so the blood would stop. David:Come on Sandra, wake up so you can tell me why you won’t go home please. She didn’t move even a little, which was scaring David, so he looked around to find a way up to see what the hitting noise was, so David started to climb up the pile of rubble but slid right back down and hurt his arm. David:Come on Sandra, wake up please. I need your help please. Mandy was sitting in the snow still by the window. Then Mandy saw David, which was the best and most horrible thing at the same time. Mandy knocked on the window, but David didn’t see her knocking. Mandy:I saw David. He was alive. He was trying to climb up the rubble and then slide back down, and I don’t know what happened to him after that. Anne:You saw him. Did you see Sandra at all? What if he was trying to get help for her? Mandy's mom started to cry like any parent should if their child was in danger, so Mandy went over and hugged her as tightly as she could. Mandy: Don’t worry mom, I’m sure everything is fine. We will get them out. Sandra heard the scream again, but this time it sounded like someone had fallen down, but when Sandra woke up she was in her childhood home and Sandra looked around to find that her mom was coming at her with a belt. Sandra:Mom, no, I didn’t lie. Please, if it did happen, why would I lie about something like that? Ester:because you want him to go to jail for something he didn’t do. Then, a minute later, she was hit by the belt and beaten with it. Sandra:Mom, stop hurting me. I’m already hurt. Don’t you see it or are you too blind to anger to believe your own daughter? Easter:Shut your mouth, you little b***h. I don’t care if you are hurt or not, you are getting what you deserve. When she said that, Sandra knew from that moment on that she didn’t care about her or if she even lived with this pipe in her gut. When Mandy said that she had seen David, they were all filled with hope until she said he fell back down. Then Trevor had a feeling that it was his fault David didn’t come back home for Christmas. Trevor:”work faster. We need to get them out of there now! Anne:Trevor, calm down, we will get them out so don’t worry. The more Sandra stayed asleep, the more he got scared that she would never wake up. David:I know it is silly to talk to you while you are asleep, but you wanted to know why I didn’t go home for Christmas. It’s because my dad and grandpa are always trying to get me to marry someone of their choice, so that is why, if you wake up, I will let you make fun of me as much as you want. But there was complete silence, nothing but the banging that was going on up there, but David had to try and get their attention to get Sandra help.
