Getting help

1323 Words
There was nothing going on, but they had to try something to get David and Sandra out of there, because they couldn’t continue doing anything. Mandy went further down to see if she could get a good view of a way to get in without them knowing and there was a small gap that looked like Mandy could get into, but it looked like a slide. Mandy:Hello anyone down there, if there is, can you stand at the bottom please? Mandy heard some footsteps from down there, so she started to go down and as soon as Mandy got to the bottom of the slide-like structure, there was David with a hurt hand. David:Mandy, are you nuts? You could have got hurt or, worse, died. What is wrong with you? Mandy: OK, you have a point, but I couldn’t just stay up there and do nothing but where is Sandra? Isn’t she here with you? David: Yeah, she is, but it wouldn’t be good to move her. When he said that, she was now sure something had happened to Sandra. Mandy walked around until she saw the worst site in her tire life, which was Sandra stuck in the gut by a metal rod and passed out by a fire. Mandy:David, I’m going to go get help, and you can stay here with her OK. David:But Mandy, you won’t be able to climb back up. I tried before I was too slippery. Mandy knew that she was stuck down there because of what she had done. If they found out that Mandy had gone down here, they would kill her. Sandra heard people screaming at each other and there she was the day before the building collapsed, in her chair getting ready to leave before David had called her into his office and there David was looking desperately worried. Sandra:David, what is wrong? You look worried. Did something happen? He ran and hugged Sandra like his life depended on it. Sandra had to figuratively pry herself from his arms to breathe. David: Don’t you remember you fell into a pile of metal and now there is a pipe stuck in your gut, but don’t worry, I’m getting help. Sandra:What do you mean by there being a pipe in me? I don’t have any wounds. David:But you do, it’s right there, and I have been trying to get you up. Sandra looked down to find a metal pipe at her side and saw what David was talking about, but what did he mean by trying to wake her up? Sandra thought that she was already awake. Anne was going over to where she left Mandy, but when Anne got there Mandy was gone, so she followed her footprints that were left in the snow, and they led to a small gap in the side of the building, and so she did the one thing that was possibly crying. Trevor:Anne, what is wrong? You haven’t cried for a while. What happened, and where is Mandy? Anne:Mandy went into that hole to get her brother out, and I think I have an idea of how to communicate with them. What if we got some walkie-talkies and put them in the hole so they could tell us what was going on inside there? Trevor: Yeah, why do you need one? Anne:Can you get me some rope and one, please, I’m going to talk to my kids. As Trevor went to go get the walkie-talkies, Anne had to say something that would echo down to where they were. Anne:Mandy, David, if you can hear me, we are sending some walkie-talkies down for you to speak through to us. Can you hear me? Anne knew they were down there, and she knew they could hear her because they stopped arguing about what it was. When Anne looked back, there were Trevor and Dedrick walking towards her with a rope and a walkie-talkie. Dedrick:What was she thinking? Why when she could have hurt herself and the babies but never mind that part? What do you need us to do? Anne, Trevor:” what, Dedrick?” Dedrick: OK, so she wanted to leave this as a Christmas present, but she is pregnant again. Why would she go down there if she knew it could harm the baby? When Dedrick said baby, Anne panicked and grabbed the rope and walkie-talkies and put them down there as she held them tied to the rope. When they heard their mom's voice saying that they were going to get them something so that they could talk to each other, they were happy to hear someone else's voice other than their own, but Mandy was overturned by Sandra making sure she was OK. David:How is she doing? Mandy:She is staying strong, but I don’t know for how much longer. If we don’t get her out soon, she won’t make it, but don’t worry, I’ll do as much as I can, OK. After that, they heard a noise from the slide-like structure, and it was two walkie-talkies, so they both grabbed one and were able to speak to somebody. David:Hello, is anybody on the other end? Hello mom, dad, are you there? Anne:Yes, I am here. How is it going down there? Are you guys OK? David: OK, Mandy and I are OK, but Sandra got hurt when the floor went from under us. Trevor:How bad is it? " Do we need to get paramedics and an ambulance here? Mandy took the walkie-talkie and started speaking, so David went back to Sandra and also near the fire they made to keep them warm so they didn't freeze to death. David:Come on Sandra, you have to make it through the next couple of days. They are doing their best to get us out of here. Just hang on if it's not for me, because Luna and Leo need you. While David went back to tend to Sandra. Mandy talked to their mom and dad. Of course, Dedrick would spill about her being pregnant, but Mandy told them both they were fine, except for Sandra. Anne:Mandy, how is everyone down there? What happened to Sandra? Mandy:Sandra has a pipe stuck in her gut, and she is hanging on by a thread. You need to speed it up, or she won’t make it. When Trevor came over to where everyone was working and asked for a rope and two walkie-talkies, they were all so confused since they were so busy, but then he told them what had happened. Dedrick was scared of Mandy because of the baby. Dedrick:Why would she go down there? "She could get hurt, or worse, the baby could get hurt? " What was she thinking about when she did that? Anne:Maybe she was tired of sitting around and doing nothing. We don't know what is going on down there, so you talk to your wife. Mandy:Dedrick, before you say anything I want to let you know I am OK and that you need to hurry up and get us out of here. Dedrick was so happy to know that they were OK, but they needed to get more help to get this done faster and get Sandra to the hospital quickly. Dedrick: Don’t worry Mandy, we are going to get you all out of there as soon as possible. I promise you that. When Mandy was done, she came back towards them with a concerned and worried look on her face, but she also had a look of relief at her. Mandy: Don’t worry, I just finished talking to them about the whole situation, and they are going as fast as possible and going for more help OK. David:Sandra, do you hear that they are getting help to get us out faster? David knew that he would get no answer from her, but just to tell her that was the best thing to do right now.
