The Creator's Betrayal

Sorren and Amethyst Moon are eight-year-old twins with special abilities and are currently working their way to earning the title of 'warrior' which is a high honour for those born with the gifts.

Their parents are archaeologist in search of the truth to find out if their maker had actually betrayed and abandoned them as their people believed for generations. But one day their beloved parents go missing in the cursed woods never seen again and are taken in by their aunt. When Amethyst turns 18, she's had enough of the nightmares that haunt her sleep ever since their parents’ disappearance she decides to set out on her own to find their parents, as she can sense that they are still alive and are in a great deal of pain. Sorren tries to stop her, but she can't wait any longer with weapon in hand she left in the middle of the night and headed straight for the woods and hasn't been seen or heard from since.

5 years have passed Sorren is 23 now and is still trying to gather help to find his family but all refuse for no one is willing to entre those woods.

A thousand years will soon pass since the day of the awakening as is tradition the Astralights will be throwing a festival to remember the day the maker betrayed us, Sorren can't seem to shake that feeling that something devastating is going to happen during the festival.

As the festival is in full swing and the ritual is almost completed Sorren senses something is wrong but he's too late to stop it, just like a thousand years ago a piercing wailing screaming erupted from the woods the ground shook and split apart the star filled sky turned dark red and all hell broke loose.

Every one ran screaming in panic as demonic beast fell from the skies, erupted from the soil, the misty shadow started pouring out of the forest and instantly killed anything it touched. Amongst the chaos and panic everyone pushed and kicked, children cried in fear or from being separated from their parents.

A little boy and his sister were running hand in hand when swampy looking beast that spat acid appeared in front of them, they backed away, but the beast lunged to devour them whole, but Sorren tackled them out of the way.

with chaos all around Sorren stood between the beast and the children, he trained most of his life for this moment but was he ready or would he join his sister and parents on the other side?
