My head was throbbing really badly, I felt like all my energy was drained out of me. I did remember everything that happened until I saw Max healing fast and after that, it's just black. I understood why Alan asked me not to use my powers, but I couldn't let Max feel the pain I felt back that day. We haven't mated, but the mate bond was strong enough for me to feel some pain when he felt it. I didn't know where I was, but I felt the warmth of Max. He must be somewhere close.
"I love you, you will never understand how much I love you..." he whispered, my heart swelled. This man was absolutely everything I wanted, and he was so amazing, showing me how much he cared about me in those few days that I had no more doubts.
Oh Goddess, we're finally on the same page about this.
