He asked the question I wanted to actually ask. He read my mind.
"Actually, I had never shifted before" I confessed to him, but he actually didn't look surprised. "I had my birthday a week ago, but with everything I didn't do it at the time," I didn't know how to explain my situation.
"I'm sure you would like to shift, but baby, it's not the right time. Shifting for the first time is very exhausting and you're still recovering", he said very softly, "I promise you, I'll bring you to my favorite shifting place and be with you the whole process". He smiled at me.
