I sat on the bed, with this feeling that something here was off, I couldn't get my mind off my mate and why had I left her there? Right now I regret my decision more than ever. I imagined how it would be to have her by my side at this reunion, that I could show her off to everyone. My mind was all about it. I was trying hard to seem strong and determined about finding her, but the truth was that I was a mess and I was f*cking scared of never finding her.
