*Max's POV
I liked our packhouse so much, it was in the middle of the forest and it was very minimalist. It was white and gray, with floor-to-ceiling windows and a massive door. I noticed that Olivia was scared to go inside the house because she was hiding behind my arm. She wasn't small but I was much bigger than her, so she could easily hide.
The good thing was that the stairs were close to the door and the whole pack was working at the time, so no one would be there. For caution, I mind-linked Alex and asked him to not let anyone get close to the stairs in the next few minutes.
"It's okay, love" I said to her as we walked up to the room. Nick was behind us.
