Kira Jahan, Is harbouring a deadly secret, that even she isn't aware of. Until one night on the way home from work, she is attacked and a dormant power is awoken, drawing the attention of dangerous people from her past.

She must fight to survive the enemies hunting her down as well as fighting herself and the newly awakened deadly instincts and her apparently unavoidable fate.

Throughout her journey, she encounters new and exciting people, but learns quickly that not everyone is as interested in her welfare as she first believes and has to learn how to tell the wolves from the sheep. But having lived most of her life in isolation, with only scraps of information about herself, her past and the world around her, she is faced with overwhelming challenges and dangers along the way, as well as the growing fears and superstitions she does not understand, about a terrifying, ancient danger in the land.
