The Moon Twins Destiny

I was running through a field full of wild flowers chasing rabbits when I heard my twin brother calling me " wait for me rabbit". " You're going to have to catch me first Grey", I shouted, giggling, completely forgetting the rabbits I was chasing . I call him gray because of his hair. It's pure silver. Just as I was about to turn around, Grey tackled me, tickling me "AHHH". I shrieked, hitting the floor laughing uncontrollably " Kids dinners ready". We heard our mother call "ill race you back". Grey said before he took off running, "hey no fair I'm telling mommy" I whined, "last one there is a rotten egg", he called as we raced back. No way will I be the rotten egg this time. BANG BANG BANG! I'm awakened by someone banging on the basement door. " Wake up you lazy pig before I call the Alpha". I hear Kate say she is the head omega, a fat old lady that thinks she owns the place.". Yes mam." I called as I jumped off my make-shift bed. "s**t" its 5:30am. I was meant to be awake 30 minutes ago to start the first breakfast shift.. I grab my canvas shoes that are old and full of holes, but what can you expect from a human slave living with a pack of werewolves? I rush to the kitchen and start the breakfast prep by pre-heating the oven and preparing the pancake batter. I have 30 minutes to prep, cook and put up breakfast for the first 50 warriors. The pack has a training schedule throughout the day. 50 warriors/members per 2 hour session. This pack has 300 warriors and about 800 members, which isn't huge but not tiny. They aren't my pack though, one because I am human and two because I am a slave and have been for the last 12 years. It's my 18th birthday tomorrow and I have decided it's the day I will run away. I have a plan that me and Flo have discussed. I say discussed i spoke. She listens because that is all she can do because she is a rabbit. She turned up on my 7th birthday and has never left. We will wait till 3am when the guards change patrol. I have hidden tinned and dried food under the kick board in the kitchen for the last 2 months to take with me. Just as the first group of warriors walks through the door at exactly 6am, I am putting the last batch of pancakes on the self-serve counter "OI b***h", a guard shouts at me. I turned around to figure out who shouted " here I need sauce". I bowed my head at the guard that had his hand raised and headed back to the kitchen to get the sauce. Just as I'm heading into the dining hall, I hear the voices I dread most. " Why the f**k are you in here? I don't want to be seeing your ugly face this early. You will. Put me off my food" Jason the Alpha son spits at me."sorry Jason" I whispered with my head and eyes to the floor. "What the f**k did you just say it is Alpha Jason to you whore." He shouted at me. I don't know why he calls me a w***e all the time. I have never even looked at a man, let alone kissed or been with one. Like I said I am a human, so I won't get a mate, which is kind of a good thing. I couldn't imagine a man wanting me. They would be so disappointed. I have dark curly hair, porcelain skin and big red lips. Everyone calls me a freak because of my eye color as well. I have one eye green and one eye silver. "Sorry Alpha Jason " I muttered back. Not daring to lift my head, I can not take a beating today. It would ruin my plans! Last time I ended up with a broken leg! I had never been treated by a pack doctor though! Everything has to just heal on its own and I have to continue working. " Why is this trash still alive babe, why cant we just kill her already?" Martha Jason's mate/pack w***e whines "because my dad says its a good lesson to teach these pathetic humans a lesson on who is the better species" He mocks right in front of me. " you should hear the story my dad tells about how her low life family died the cowards begged for there lives" he laughs. I could feel my anger rising. Please just shut up, I thought before I lost my battle and got a beating. "I bet her mother was just as ugly as she is. She properly looked better with her face ripped off" the evil b***h Martha chuckled.. That was a step too far. I lifted my head and glared right at the b***h. " Don't you dare talk about my mother you worthless slut", I gritted out before I could let my words sink in. I felt a burning sensation across my face where Jason punched me. I fell to the ground holding my face. " Don't let that b***h talk to me like that babe and teach her a lesson", Martha screeched. Jason grabbed me by my scruff and threw me across the room where I banged my rib as I hit a table. He stalked over to me and screamed in my face "TALK TO MY MATE LIKE THAT AGAIN I WILL KILL YOU MY SELF". Then he banged my head off the table before stalking away with Martha laughing. I picked myself off the floor and hobbled to the kitchen with everyone laughing behind me. Alpha Simon walked into the kitchen. "Slave go to the basement. I need all the washing washed and dried today" "Yes, alpha ", I responded before heading back to the basement.
