The Bounty

As the thunder roared, a large ten foot human boar with pink skin and two long silver husks dressed in all black, kicked the door open as he screamed “Boss! Boss! New mission!” Once those words were uttered from his lips, thousands of red eyes were revealed causing the dark room to light up a little.  “Mission?” “Hehehe. Who’s gonna die this time?” “Bout’ time! I was getting bored just sleeping all day” “What’s the price? I need my nails done” These were just some of the words from the bat army coming from the ceiling. One by one they all fell down and began to press the Boar.  “Gimme the flyer Borus!” One bat named Clem screeched as he towered over the Boar.  “Nah I'm good,” Borus said confidently as he brushed past the bat. Now seething, “Gimme the flyer” Clem demanded as he extended his large human hand toward Borus.  Turning back toward him, Borus said in a low voice “I don’t think you heard me the first time. Nah I'm good” As Borus turned away, he was interrupted by another Bat named Edgar who dripped acid from his decaying teeth. “ Just give us the information. We’ll handle it right away. So just give it to us.” He urged “No!” Borus Roared “I swear I remember saying ‘Boss’ and not some Half-assed experiment who can’t even go out during the day.”  “Well. The boss is asleep right now so just give us the paper and we can handle it then give the money to the boss after taking out our cut.” Clem said as he extended his arm out once again. “Your cut?” Borus questioned, “you’re stealing from the boss?” “Yea me and Edgar steal all the time,” Clem said proudly as he put his arm around Edgar. “We can give you a cut too for letting us handle the mission if you wa-” Right before Clem could finish his sentence a blue lightning bolt was flung through his chest causing his organs to spill out like the sparks from a firework, pinning him to a wall 30ft away! Struggling to breathe Clem begins to choke on his own blood, as he incinerates the floor below him with his own acidic spit! “Hmmm. So you and Edgar are stealing from me huh? Is this true Edgard? A mysterious man asked as he threw his bottle of alcohol on the floor.  Shaking his head rapidly Edgard pleads “No sir. No, it is not. I promise you”  The man then walked out of the shadows to reveal his menacing stature. He was about the same height as Borus with long white hair and wore black armor with a blood red sword on his back. As he walked toward Borus, each bat began to create a pathway for him and sat down. As he slowly made his way toward Edgard, the bat tensed up. Everything in his body told him to run away. But he knew he would die if he moved any muscle even a millimeter. His heart ached and his sweat spewed out of him like a broken faucet.  “What’s wrong?” The boss questioned. “If you didn’t do anything why do you look like you’ve seen a ghost?”  “Umm, no reason sir.” The Boss then got closer to Edgar and took a big whiff of his body, then walked away.  Relieved, Edgar took a breath of fresh air before the Boss then appeared in front of him with his hand wrapped around his throat.  “Edgar if you didn’t lie why do you reek of one?! You know I hate liars right?!” The Boss screamed Struggling to breathe Edgars nods in agreement. “I don’t think I made you without a mouth sir. Speak when spoken to, I thought I had asked you a question.”  “I- uh… Yes… Yes sir” Edgar whimpered “I’d never steal from you”  “Oh really?” The boss questioned. “Then why do you Reak of a lie then?!” The boss yelled. As this altercation took place not a single bat moved a muscle since they knew that if they did they would suffer the same fate. All except one that is. One bat was bold enough to try to grab two weapons from her back pocket before the Boss let go of Edgar's neck and appeared before her within milliseconds forcing her to drop them on the floor making a loud CLACK noise. “And what the hell were you about to do?” He questioned  “Nothing I swear!” Smeera pleaded  “So everyone just thinks that was I born yesterday then huh?”  “No sir.”  “So why were you pulling out your blades then?” “Borus said that there was a mission so I was just getting ready.  “Oh really so you got ready because of the mission and not because I had your fiancé by the neck?”  “Yes sir!” The boss now heavily annoyed, took a deep breath before chopping her head off with his bare hands.  “I said I don't like liars…” The boss said while staring deeply into Edgar’s eyes.  As the blue blood that spewed out of Smeera’s body painted the wall Edgard began to seethe! Within seconds, Edgar started foaming from the mouth and grew exponentially in size! Although he knew he would lose he still charged at the Boss with tears running from his eyes. “Smeera!” he screamed   His dark blue fists glowed gold as he charged up his attack. But instead of facing him, the Boss instead walked away.  What is he doing? Edgar thought.  Although he was caught off guard his goal was still the same so he still pressed forward. Until the Boss snapped his fingers, completely obliterating Edgar’s body in seconds! After this, the Boss then pulled out a towel and began to wipe himself off before casually walking toward Borus.  “So what’s the mission?” He asked casually as he extended his hand out “Here you go, sir.” “Hmmm. Take out the Five Heartbeats for 40 million Yeers each and return Princess Rin for an additional 75 million?! Borus Is this real? “Yes sir!”  “Where the hell did you even get this? The Boss pestered  “The kingdom of Yondo of course! He said that you’re one of the strongest people in the world so he knows that you’ll be able to do this job with ease.” “Really? Well with that much money on the line I’ll send all of our troops get ready we leave tomorrow night! Boom your head will be mine!" The boss shouted....
