Holy vomited, only saliva and nothing in his stomach. She had not eaten since noon. She feels dizzy, and the nausea keeps coming on. She didn't know what was happening. Julie caught up with Holy, she rubbed Holy's back. "Are you sick?" "Maybe I'm poisoned." "Let's go to the hospital." Julie helped Holy walk to bed. "I'm okay, Mom. I just want to rest." "Okay, tell me if your stomach hurts." Julie sat on the edge of the bed as Holy lay down and turned her back to her. Holy mumbled. But the nausea didn't stop even in the morning. Julie woke up at 4 o'clock and eavesdropped into Holy's room. She heard the door closing. And occasionally she heard Holy wanting to vomit. Julie prepared bread and warm lemon tea. She waited for Holy to come downstairs with concerns, but Holy did not appear. She hurried up to the second floor. "Holy." Julie knocked on the door. "You're not going to college?" Then she opened the door. Julie walked in, she didn't see Holy in her room. She opened the bathroom, and nothing. Where did she go? She didn't see Holy come downstairs. But the window was open. Julie went downstairs, she picked up the cell phone she had placed on the dining table. She called Holy, but she didn't answer. She walked outside and looked left and right. She stepped to the right, she kept looking around. She had a bad feeling, she hoped nothing happened. "Holy, where are you?" She called back. "Holy." "Mom, I'm fine." Holy was silent for a while. "I'm already in college." "Why didn't you tell me you were leaving? I was so worried about you." "I'm sorry." Holy looked over at Declan. They weren't at the college, Holy and Declan were on top of the building. Declan came to Holy's house in the morning. He entered through the window and carried Holy in his arms. "Alright, don't come home late." Holy muttered and then disconnected the call. She turned to Declan and smiled. He hugged Declan, it felt like forever since they had seen each other. "What did you want to talk about?" "Nothing." Declan shook his head and ruffled Holy's hair gently. "Then why did you kidnap me?" Holy spluttered, pretending to be annoyed. "I'm still sleepy." Declan chuckled and patted Holy. "Don't you miss me?" He whispered into Holy's ear, then exhaled. "Stop." Holy punched Declan playfully in the chest. Then she leaned into Declan. He hugged her from behind. They gazed at the view of the city from the rooftop. They'd been dating for almost five months, and only recently had he learned that Declan wasn't an ordinary human. Holy didn't believe it at first, but when Declan transformed, she screamed at the top of her lungs. Declan was Holy's first love. And when he returned to human form, Holy was amazed at how handsome Declan was with his perfect body and long legs. Holy wouldn't let go of that man. They ate at a café, both ordering sandwiches. Holy was so hungry, she chewed her food voraciously. Declan swiftly cleaned the remaining food that stuck to the tip of Holy's lips. "When are we going to live together?" Holy asked with a tired face. "Will your mom let you leave home?" Holy swallowed the bread with difficulty. "My mom would never let me live alone." "You have to finish your studies, that's your mother's wish." As soon as he saw Holy's mood change, he immediately grasped Holy's hand. "Besides, you never introduced me to your mother." Holy was silent, she wasn't sure if her mother would accept Declan if Julie knew the truth. There was a lot of fear about introducing Declan as a boyfriend to her mother. "What took so long for the drinks to arrive?" Holy looked to the side, trying to change the subject. A man came over and placed orange juice in front of Holy. But the woman looked terrified of seeing it. Holy lowered her hand from the table. "What's wrong?" Holy ran to the bathroom, then threw up. She didn't know what happened to her, but she saw the orange juice turn black. When she turned the faucet she was nauseous again, the water turned black. "Holy." Declan called from outside. Holy closed his eyes, no, she was just hallucinating. When she turned the faucet back on, the water was no longer black. She quickly cleaned her mouth and looked at herself in the mirror. "What's happening to me?" Declan waited worriedly. As soon as he saw Holy come out, he rushed over to her. "You're okay?" "I'm fine." Holy looked at Declan, she wanted to say something, but she wasn't sure. She felt like he kept seeing black in every liquid object. Declan would drive Holy to the bus stop. Holy closed her eyes as she saw the puddles on the sidewalk turn black. The man leads him carefully. Declan felt something was wrong with Holy, he had to ask the clan chief to make sure Holy wasn't poisoned. When Holy got home, he saw Dean talking to Julie. He quickly approached them, the blond man gave her a disgusted look. "Is it true?" Julie stood up and shook Holy's body. "What?" "You're having a wedding with a strange man." Julie sighed, holding her dizzy head. Her eyes moved left and right. "Tell me, what did that man do?" "That's not true. I'm not married to anyone." Then Holy suddenly felt nauseous, but he held it in. "Dean has the proof. You're not even married, but you didn't tell me you had a boyfriend." Dean had taken a picture of Holy and Declan when the wolf wasn't on his back anymore. Holy looked down. "I'm sorry." She walked to the kitchen to drink or eat something to relieve the nausea, but she saw the pumpkin soup that suddenly turned black. Holy rushed to the sink and vomited. Julie caught up with Holy and began to worry about her daughter's continued vomiting. She quickly pulled Holy over and looked at her daughter's stomach. "We need to go to the hospital." "I'm okay, Mom." "No, we have to go to the hospital this time." "What for?" "To check if you're pregnant or not!" Julie gave her an angry look. Holy didn't want to look at her mother, she felt ashamed and guilty. But maybe that way she could get permission to stay with Declan. "Let me live with Declan, we'll be legally married." "What?" Julie couldn't believe what Holy was saying. "I want to live with Declan." She turned her head the other way. Julie continued to stare at Holy, something crossed her mind. She walked over to Holy and tried to undress her daughter. "What are you doing?" Holy tried to block her mother's hand. But Julie seemed to be losing her mind. "Mom!" "Show me." Julie was on Holy's stomach and trying to pull Holy's shirt off. "Mom, no!" Julie was running out of ideas, she tore Holy's shirt and turned her over. She looked closely at the wound on Holy's shoulder. Then Julie's face became anxious, there was no way this could happen to her daughter.
