A man walked into the church, he looked at The Virgin Mary. "I'll make sure not to defile the church," he said, looking left and right.
Julie leaned against the wall, her heart beating fast. Everything was going wrong, she couldn't bring Holy, her daughter could die, and so would the baby in her belly.
Julie went back to the confessional, she wanted to lock Holy in there, but she forgot that her Holy's body was not as thin as it used to be.
Holy was drained of energy, she even stopped trying to give birth to her child. Julie patted Holy's cheek and asked her not to sleep.
Julie had no choice, she pushed Holy's weak body with force, then closed the door. Her tears flowed, she had to check whether the man was human or not.
"Holy, stay here and don't make a sound." Julie stared at Holy, who did not respond at all, her daughter's eyes half closed.
Julie searched for something she could use as a weapon, but found nothing. She continued to search, opening the storage cupboard. She saw a screwdriver. There was no other choice, she took it.
Julie hid behind the wall, the man was already walking towards the confessional. She wouldn't let anyone hurt her daughter.
As soon as the man was beside her, Julie stabbed him in the shoulder, but she was knocked away quickly. Julie widened her eyes, the man's strength was very strong.
"Shit." He held her bleeding shoulder. Then he laughed. "I could have killed you, but I promised to The Virgin Mary that I wouldn't defile her house."
"Who are you?" Julie sighed repeatedly, she tried to stand up. "What do you want?"
"I just want to find someone, a pregnant woman." The man was tall and well-built, the muscles on his shoulders and arms looked intimidating.
Julie was on her feet, she was watching the man. Declan's family? No way. No one knew they'd gone to Switzerland.
"There are no pregnant women here," Julie said. It was obvious she was nervous.
The man laughed, his hair was slightly curly and long, his skin brown, his eyebrows very thick. He was wearing a jacket and jeans.
"Where is she?"
"Who do you mean?"
The man jumped up, then grabbed Julie by the neck and pushed her to the end of the hallway. "I could have killed you."
Julie was out of breath, her body was rising and her feet not touching the ground. "Let me go."
The man released his grip, Julie fell. The woman coughed as she touched her neck.
"Tell me, where is she?"
"What do you want to do?!" Julie still had the energy to be angry.
"I'll take her."
Julie shook her head quickly. "No, you're not. She's my daughter. You have no right to take her away from me."
"Tell me," the man stomped on Julie's chest, "I don't have time to hear you cry."
Then the man heard something, like someone knocking on something wooden. Julie's eyes widened as the man turned around, she tried to stand up.
"No." Julie endured the pain in her chest, but she couldn't move quickly. Her body became weak.
"Don't touch her."
The man managed to find Holy. Just when he was about to take Holy out, Julie hit his head. He turned around and slapped Julie. The woman fell down with the candleholder she was holding.
"You should have said that earlier." The man looked at Julie, who had fainted.
The man lifted Holy, the woman had no ability to resist, she just cried and called for her mother. As he went to the door, he saw The Virgin Mary. She didn't want anything. Holy just wanted her little family intact.
After a few minutes, Julie woke up weak. She looked around and couldn't find her daughter.
"Holy."
Julie walked out of the church, looking left and right, not knowing where to go. She felt her legs become weak, her eyes filled with tears.
Julie returned home. She had no choice, she had to call Pedro. The call was connected but not picked up. Should she call Dean?
"Oh God, help me." Julie took a breath and wiped her tears. She called Pedro again.
She waited, and the call was finally answered. "Hello."
"Why are you calling me?"
"Help me." Julie's lips trembled. "Please help me find Holy."
"I don't have time to take care of juvenile delinquents." Pedro still thought Holy was a teenager. He hadn't seen them in a long time.
"Please, Holy is pregnant and someone took her away." Julie couldn't stop herself from getting hysterical.
Pedro was silent, he didn't want to guess what had happened. He immediately left Argentina. He was quite surprised to learn that Julie and Holy had moved away.
"Julie." Pedro was Holy's father's brother. He wasn't very tall and was a bit chubby.
Julie came down from the second floor, her face puffy, her eyes swollen. She took a piece of bread and prepared tea for Pedro. The shop has been closed since yesterday.
"Explain it to me."
Julie sat in front of Pedro and began to tell him everything. Including Holy's marriage to Declan. After that, her heart felt very heavy.
"Are you sure he's not human?"
Holy nodded. "He jumped pretty high."
"No, I doubt it's a werewolf. Why would they kidnap a pregnant woman?"
Julie covered her mouth. If not a werewolf, then what?
"Please, Holy."
Pedro sighed, this was too much. "We have to ask for help, we can't handle this alone. I'm afraid they are deliberately capturing women who have werewolf babies."
