Angel POV
I followed the fight as best I could, it was hard to see anything clearly at this distance in the dark, despite my wolf's sharp vision. Something that helped me was the mind links that were sent between the different wolves. Overall, it seemed like we had taken over.
The wolves Pete had sent to me lay and healed close to the hatch or on top of it. It was wisely thought, it was impossible to smell the wolves underground!
It pulled out and a couple of the wolves returned to the fight when they were healed. But Pete kept sending me new ones. I did not like to stand on the sideline, but it was an impossible choice, my puppies or my mate! My puppies did not have the opportunity to express their opinion, but Pete was clear! Protect them all!
