The cold mountain air hurt my skin as I pushed forward. I was breathing hard, in short, quick breaths. The world had changed for me, and I felt lost. The only things I had left were the rifle on my back and a strong need for answers. Behind me, Sophia walked quickly and quietly. She was a woman who had come back into my life, bringing forgotten memories with her. She had led me to this old cabin in the mountains. The place felt strange, but also somehow familiar. I stopped at the front door and pressed my hand against the old wood. It creaked a little. The smell of pine and old dust filled my lungs. My home was gone, my men were either dead or gone, and the name Obsidian Heitt was now in every corner of my mind. Who the hell was he? And why did the sound of his name make my heart pound
