Haylee’s Pov

He asked me if I trusted him and, in all honesty, I wanted to, but I was scared what if I let him in and he hurts me like they always do. But I knew for this to work I needed to trust him, and it didn’t help that Harley was screaming in my head “say yes. He won’t hurt us he loves us already. please say yes let’s see where this goes.”

I found myself nodding my head because I knew my words would fell me.

He was quite for a moment to quite for my liking. Like he was trying to piece together the plan that was forming in his head. “Now are you going to tell me what this great plan of yours is?” I asked

He laughed while tighting his arms around my waist “Of course, go to the moon ball with me as my date let me show off my beautiful mate. Let’s see what they will say or do.” he finally spoke when he caught his breath.

I looked at him like he had grown two heads and was talking out of his a** “I know I said I would be your date but one I don’t think this will work and secondly I have nothing to wear they would never let me buy anything new even if my dad would give me money they would take it from me.”

He growled loudly “Well that will not be happing anymore do you hear me? and I will take you shopping in the morning.”

“I can’t I don’t have any money.” I whispered

“It’s okay I’m paying for it, it’s my present to my beautiful mate.” He pushed a fallen piece of hair behind my ear.

I couldn’t help the blush that formed. He was making my heart beat a thousand beats per minute. I leaned my head against his chest, hearing his heartbeat as fast as mine. I don’t know how long we have been sitting here, me straddling him my head on his chest and him rubbing circles on my back but I could see the sun coming up from his window, it was so beautiful were the blue met the orange. I looked up into his eyes “We should sleep for a couple of hours the sun is already coming up.” He nodded and pulled me with him up to the top of the bed. He laid us down with my head still on his chest and his arms wrapped around my waist like he was scared that I would disappear on him.

With my head laying on his chest and his heartbeat my lullaby, I finally fell asleep.

I wake up to someone kissing down my check to my neck, I tried to pull away but strong arms tighten around me and kept me close. “What are you doing?” I asked

He kissed his way to my lips and gave me a soft kiss but meaningful one. “Waking up my beautiful mate in the best way possible.”

I groaned “I’m up what time is it. ”

He laughed and it was the most beautiful thing I have ever heard “It’s a little after ten. We should get up and start getting ready. I have some omega’s bringing in some dresses for you to try on they will be here in thirty minutes. So, you should get up and get in the shower unless you want me to join you?”

I shot up at of the bed, he smacked my a** as I got up and I ran to the bathroom, shutting the door with a slam and locked it. I needed a few minutes to get myself together and sort out everything that has happened. I turned on the water as hot as I could handle it and stepped into it.

“Where are you? We need you to get our dresses ready and help us get ready.” My stepmom yelled through the mind link.

I rolled my eyes and took a deep breath “I’m not coming home; you will have to figure it out on you own.”

I don’t know where that came from but the next thing she said was like ice water being poured on me. “You get your a** home now or we will disown you and tell the alpha to exile you from the pack. and you know he will he trust your father.

I don’t know where it came from, but I just started to cry and couldn’t stop. I wanted to leave I wanted to run but being kicked out is something else.

“Hey baby you, okay?” His voice so calm flouted to my ears from the door

I wiped my eyes and got out of the bathroom, I dried off and wrapped the towel around myself before stepping out. “Yeah, I’m fine I need to get home.”

He grabbed my arms and looked deep in my eyes “you're not okay I can tell I heard you crying did I do something wrong? What happened? I’m sorry for kissing you, well not for kissing you that was amazing but for kissing you without promotion.”

I laughed and clung to him. “No I actually enjoyed the kiss, It’s not you my stepmom told me I have to go back home and help them get ready.”

shaking his head “That’s not everything, tell me everything. That wouldn’t have made you cry.”

“No I told her I wasn’t going to come home and then she told me that if I didn’t get home they would disown me and then talk to your father and get me exiled from the pack.”

He growled and it was so loud it scared me and I jumped back out of his arm’s.

He grabbed me again “No baby I’m sorry it’s not you I’m so sorry I scared you please forgive me.” He begged

All I good do was nod. I took greedy inhales of his sent because when I leave, I don’t know if they will let me come back. When I looked up in Jason’s eyes they were glassed over, I knew he was mind linking someone. When his eye’s cleared he went to say something but there was a knock on the door. Before he answered he threw me one of his shirt’s and said “I’m sorry baby but this is the only way. Put on my shirt and we will talk after I answer the door.”

I pulled the shirt over my head, and it was so big it came just above my knees. I nodded my head and Jason opened the door. I really wasn’t expecting his father to be standing on the other side. “What did you do?” I asked while looking at Jason

He invited his father in and walked closer to me. “Baby I had to do what I had to do I can’t lose you and my father can help I promise.” He kissed me on the for head and then looked at his father. He explained everything to his dad, from what happened last night when we found each other to what just happened when I was in the shower. When he was done, I couldn’t read the look that alpha Andrew had on his face.

Before he could say anything, I rushed to him and started crying “I’m sorry alpha I’ll go back home I’ll do what I am told. I’ll reject Jason if that is what you want but please forgive me for all the drama.” but as those words left my lips it felt like acid it burnt me, and I didn’t know why.

“What? what I have I said about rejc...” but before he could finish his sentence alpha Andrew raised his hand to stop him and stepped closer to me. “I know my gamma has been training you I’ve seen how strong you are, and the only reason someone would train that hard is because of three things one they are running from something, two they want to protect them self's because they have no choice or three the latter. So my question to you is which one is it and secondly is what my son said true.”

I giggled I knew I shouldn’t have but I did. “Sir It’s the latter and what Jason said is true I just didn’t want anyone to know I didn’t want it to get worse I...I’m sorry.”

He nodded his head and looked at Jason. “Keep her close to you tonight, I’ll handle everything else.” with that he walked out of the room. I stood there stunned, I looked towards Jason he smiled and said “Are you read to get ready the omega’s are about to bring the dresses up.” as soon as he finished there was another knock on the door.

When he opened the door at least five people started to crowd the room. Some had dresses others had stuff for make-up and hair. I just shook my head this was to much. “I can’t take any of this is to much Jason.”

He hugged me from behind and kissed my check before saying “This is only the start baby, I want the best for you and that is what you will get. I’m going to go get ready in the guest room I’ll see you a little while okay?”

I nodded, when he left the room I started to get pulled to the vanity. I am worried about what is going to happen tonight, I don’t want to face my family or any of the pack but I guess I didn’t really have a chose now did I.

“Are you ready to start luna?” One of the omega’s asked I remember her name being Emily she used to go to school with me, we were kind of friend’s.

“Of course.” I replied and with that they started to get me ready.
