"So?" Pearl glared at him. Shine couldn't help but started laughing loudly. Thet both stayed there for a while.

"It's getting dark I think we should get back. "Pearl said getting ready to go back. "Well I have a request and you have to agree on that." Shine remained still at his position. " May I know that request of Mr. Luthra but I don't promise that I will aree." Pearl said in teasing tone. Shine shrugged a little and said "My grandma lives here it's just a few steps ahead. Do you mind staying there tonight? She will feel good to see you." Shine looked in Pearl's eyes sincerely. Pearl wanted to say yes. Actually she wouldn't mind living with him for the whole life. As much as she wanted to admit that that much her mind stopped her. Her mind won't let her admit that she really have fallen for him. Something that came out from her mouth was unexpected. "Your request it accepted." but she soon regretted her words. But it was too late and there Shown was too happy. He couldn't believed that she actually agreed. He wasted no time and started his bike.

At grandma's....

Grandma was knitting this sweater for his grandson whom she loved more than anything. He was the only grandchild she had. She was living there alone since she had only one daughter that was Shine's mother. Shine's sister used to live with grandma. But Shine's father wanted her back as he thought she was spoiled by grandma and wanted her to go to big school in city. His sister didn't want to leave grandma but who knew she would leave everybody that day when she was taken back by his father. Maybe this is the reason why Shine doesn't like his father even more. Maybe she would be alive today if his father didn't insisted on bringing her back.

Grandma was busy knitting sweater when she heard the sound of bike. She came out like a little girl who comes out for her father after he gets home from work. "My child you came back after a long time. You forgot this old lady." She hugged Shine like they were separated fir years. " I came here last week granny. You forgot it, right? " Shine replied hugging her back. After hugging grandson for a while she realized that he didn't come alone but a beautiful lady was beside him. She turned toward her "She..? " Pearl soon came ahead and said "Namaste(a way to greet elders) granny. I... I am... "

"Oh.. She is my friend. " Shine finished the sentence Pearl was shuttering on. He stood next to Pearl throwing his arm around her neck.

"Behave yourself. You know that I am your professor." Pearl murmured throwing daggers at Shine. If look could kill. "Do you think I will bring a professor to meet my granny." Shine replied smiling teasingly. Pearl could do nothing but glare at him giving a genuine smile to grandma. "Okay okay. I understand. Come inside. You must be tired. It's a long journey after all. I will make your favourite carrot sweet. And what do you like child?" She asked Pearl patting her hair just like a mother. Pearl could feel that motherly warmth and her heart filled with warmth. She was lost she could only reply" You don't have to bother yourself. I like whatever you make." she smiled at grandma. "It's not bothering child. I like to cook for my children. You rest here I will be back." and she left to kitchen.

"Thank you." Pearl thanked Shine. "Why do you say that? It's me who should thank you for coming here to see my grandma. She misses my sister a lot. She used to live with her." Shine looked into Pearl's eyes very affectionately. But Pearl broke the eye contact. She didn't dare to look into those affectionate eyes. Maybe she fears that she couldn't deny it.

The more Shine looked at Pearl the more affected he was. At first he may have just liked her. But now he was sure that he loves her. His love was going on increasing day by day. And he feared that she will disappear someday before he could confess anything. Now he was sure that he couldn't stand her disappearance. He just wanted to confess. No, he should confess now. Before it becomes late he should let it out. "Pearl, I have something to say."

"What is it?" Pearl turned to him. As soon as he saw her face his courage disappeared. But he gathered his courage "I.......
