Chapter Two (The lion's Den)

No No No I can't quit! I need to pay for my sisters tution fees next section. What do lady Anne see in me that she have chosen to make life miserable for me. I am poor! like the rats in the church. All I have is looks and nothing else.

Dave you need to get your act together, all you need is to close your eyes when working. You will overcome it!" I said to myself and went to lady Anne room to resume.

"Look who we have here, Dave? What are you doing at my door step?" Lady Anne said as I was about to knock her door with my cleaning bowl.

"My lady, I'm ask to come and resume here this afternoon" I replied trying to be nice to my new boss

"Here?" she asked surprisingly

"Yes, your room in my center of duty" I said.

"Wow, that's great!" She said and opened her Door waiting for me to come in.

The looks on my face when I entered was Alarming. Her room is bigger than where I call apartment! even bigger than two of my apartment join together.

" So you are in charge of my room, my bed, everything inside" She blink her eye again with a smile.

"Lady Anne, am just here to clean" I replied sharply.

"Alright, am not against you not doing your job but you are to answer to my needs too. Why don't you start your cleaning from my body?" She said seductively.

"I don't understand My lady" I replied

my system started respond to the situation. I became high but I was still in my right senses.

She approached me unbuttoning her shirt, The tension was high.

I knew it's a matter of time that I will get sack if I should have s*x with her. I do watch story like this in movies so I am aware of the situation.

Suddenly I heard a knock at the door. I withdrew and went to check who was it.

"Hello, is Anne in?

It's Lady Jessica, the first daughter of Andrew's.

"Yes she is in" I said and opened the door widely for her to come in.

"Hello Sis, Why are you here?" Lady Anne asked Lady Jessica.

"Dad call for a family meeting" Lady Jessica replied.

"You mean now? Lady Anne asked.

"Yes now, in fact you are leaving with me" Lady Jessica said and held Lady Anne hands and drag her to the living room.

"Oh Jehovah came to save me. This can only be God. I nearly fell in her trap" I said to myself and quickly clean her room and left become she comes back.

it's almost 3pm my closing hour. I went to change my cloth and signed out the the second building.

I went to the nearest bus stop to take a bus going to first bank junction very close to where I live. I have to go and rest before my next job at the club house with Kevin.

The bus dropped me at the junction and I walked into my house

"Hi Kevin, What's up. Why are you at home? You should be at Work by this time" I came inside and I saw Kevin watching a Korean series on the bed.

"Yea, my boss traveled and I closed the store" Kevin answered.

"You closed the store at this hour?" I asked surprisingly.

"Look Dave am tired. Otisumi. I don't even want to talk about it" Kevin doesn't look like he cared

Kevin work at a*****e very close to our house but he have been complaining recently about his Boss.

"What in your bag? its looks heavy" Said Kevin

"Yea, it's a good day bro. The sales was great at the supermarket so my Boss gave me all this" I replied

"All this? Guy this is what my boss won't do. She is no selfish" Kevin lamented.

"Leave that man and let's eat, we will drop some for Peniel and Beniel on our way to the club" I said

"That's fine, What's up? Tell me about your dream. the one your had this morning" Kevin said to me looking curious.

"Bro not now! Let's eat first" I said to Kevin.

"Why don't you want to discuss it. This is the right time bro" Kevin insisted

"Ok, I had a dream that I was going to win an international award and we are both discussing it. And you woke me up!" I finally explained.

"Dave why don't you work towards this dream" Kevin said.

"Kevin don't go there! That dream will always stay a dream. I don't see any reality coming out of it" I replied

"Guy, shut that mouth of yours before I help you. what nonsense are you saying!.... like, Is this the best you can become??? A cleaner and a sale boy??? Really? Guy wake up!!" Kevin shouted at me and all I do was staring at him.

"Look, i saw an advertisement on the T.V this morning in my working place. The popular music artist David Adeleke musical institute will be opened for admission. And the form is out" Kevin said in a cool voice.

"How much is the form you are talking about?" I asked

"The form is 5000 dollars, 10000 dollars for the two of us" Kevin replied.

"Stop Dreaming bro, Do you think if we had that money we will be owing rent? Am sure the landlord is on his way coming and you are here talking about 10000 dollars form. Kevin forget about music!" I said.

"Don't worry Dave, things will soon fall in place. I will come and meet you at the Andrew mansion tomorrow afternoon at your closing hour so that we can go their branch office here at the island" Said Kevin

"Leave that bro, something happened at the Andrew mansion" I changed the topic trying gist Kevin about my experience at my work place.

"Did they run mad? because when it's drama then it's Andrew's" Kevin asked with a funny look on his family.

"Mad? Be nice now Kevin. No body ran mad. It's was lady Anne" I said

"You mean that your lady Ashawo?" Kevin asked

"You are not serious, I went to the second building to resume my duty only to find out that I have been transferred to the main building, My supervisor said there was a change of duty after I left yesterday" I explained

"Wow, sure boss! that's a promotion for you!" Kevin offered me an hand greeting.

"Where do you see promotion? I was transferred to lady Anne room!" I dropped a bomb!

"Ah Lady Anne room??? Kevin boasted into laughter.

"Am very sure that Ashawo planned all this transfer of a thing! you know rich people and their selfish desire

she purposely transferred you to her room so that she can have a way " Kevin added.

"You think so?" I asked

"Why are you thinking like this bro!!! Why will your general manager transfer you a male worker, to your boss lady room when you can serve at the young masters room. Think bro! use your brain!!!" Kevin said

"Kevin you are making sense with your point, seriously I knew thought it that way" I said

"So do you went to resume? or...."Kevin asked

"I thought of running but running means another source of income is cut off" I said

"So you went into the lion den?" Kevin asked surprisingly

"Yea, I went to resume with a strong determination that I won't respond to her" I replied.

Kevin laughed

"What's funny?" I asked

"You? you be confirm play boy bro! Bro, f*ck this girl and free her! Give her Doggy and let her shout till she is almost lifeless! I know you bro" Kevin said

"You are not serious. have you ever seen a slave f*ck his master and ended well?" I asked Kevin

"I went to resume at the main and she met me at the entrance of her room about to knock. she asked me what am doing at the main building"

"I explained to her and she opened the door and I went in. I told her that am here to clean her room. she said I should start with her body, she walked up to me trying to seduce me hmmmm" I explained to Kevin.

"Wow, That's a nice move. Guy you are missing." Kevin stood up and laughed.

"Bro, I was about to fall but someone knocked the door and the tension came down. I went to get the door immediately. it's was lady Jessica" I said.

"Wow she shouldn't have knock at that moment" Kevin made jest of me

"But truth be told, she body shape is bad! she is f*cking sexy. No man on earth can stand her sexy body" I said remembering the moment with her.

"louder brother! Bro invite me, let me help you do this thing" Kevin said with full vibes.

"Kevin rest! you of all people should know Lady Anne is a no go area" I said to Kevin.

"I have heard you, be fast with your food and let's go and see your sisters so that from their place we will resume at the club" Kevin said

"Bro it's not even 6pm yet. Be calm, let me at least rest for an hour" I replied

"The last time you rested, do you remember that half of our salary wasn't paid just because we were an hour late. You know Mr Kilo and his troubles. I can understand you are stressed but it is better if you get up now and let's go or will you call in sick?" Kevin said and suggest an excuse for me.

"No, that's won't be necessary. just give me few minutes let me take a shower" I replied Kevin and went to the bathroom

we left the house after I took my shower and head to see Peniel and Beniel.

"Peniel Peniel" Beniel called her twin sister when she saw me through the window.

"Peniel Brother Dave is here" They both ran outside and gave me a hug.

"Hi little angels, How are you doing?" I smiled looking at their beautiful faces.

"We are doing fine brother, Uncle Kevin Good evening" They finally greeted Kevin.

"I thought you guys won't greet me" Kevin said

"Ah ah Uncle Kevin why will we do that. you are as special as brother Dave" Beniel said to Kevin

"You know what? we brought coke and bread" I said and they jump with so much joy that I wonder if they have eaten anything since morning. They clothed the bag and ran inside leaving us outside.

My phone rang

"Dave Dave Linda is calling you. I guess she is at the club" Kevin said handling over the phone to me.

"What's up girlfriend? How are you? Don't worry we are already on our way" I said to her and ended the call smiling

Linda is my friend. we are in an undefined relationship. we met at the club. She is beautiful and Nice

"What's wrong with this girl? Are you really in love with her?" Kevin asked like my father would ask.

"What's with the serious look? You know we are just friends" I replied

"Just friends? I can't count how many time you have Fu*k this girl behind the bar" Kevin said

"You know now, we are just friends with benefits" I gave Kevin a smirk.

"Ose Baddest!" Kevin hailed me with his two hands up and I smiled.

"Beniel, Peniel.. Do take care of yourself. we are leaving" I shouted hoping to hear a feedback but I didn't

"Leave them alone, they are eating" Kevin said and drag me to the junction to take a taxi. the taxi dropped us at the front of the club.
