*Terrorist Commands*I'm Jack Forest, a former special forces captain in the army. I retired two years ago, after spending 20 years in the army and 15 years with the special forces. I decided to give it a break and be with my little girl, Anita, who was 14 years old.My wife had left us when Anita was just a baby, and I had taken care of her ever since. I retired from the army by force, so I could spend more time with her. The army didn't want me to go, but I forced myself out. Now, I work as a consultant, helping people who want to join the army. One day, I was watching TV and saw a terrorist attack on one of the government hospitals. The terrorists had taken the doctors, nurses, and patients hostage. It had been over three days since the special forces were called in to rescue the hostages, but they were having a tough time dealing with the terrorists. The terrorists had even captured the special forces captain and were demanding the release of a prisoner in custody.I got a call from the chief commander officer, wanting to see me immediately. I wondered why they wanted me, since I had been out of the army for two years.I visited Chief Commander Kelly's office to find out why he wanted me. He pleaded with me to lead the special forces in rescuing the hostages from the hospital. Since the captain was also a hostage in the hands of the terrorists, they needed someone with experience to lead the mission."You have the experience we need, Jack," Chief Commander Kelly said. "Please, help us rescue the hostages."I agreed to take on the mission, but on one condition: after this, I would not be called back to active duty again.I met with the special forces team and planned the attack. We studied the layout of the hospital, the faces of the hostages, and the location of the terrorists. There were eight terrorists holding 15 hostages. We were ready to move in. I gave the signal, and we burst into the hospital room, guns drawn. "Everyone, get down!" I yelled. The terrorists were caught off guard, and for a moment, they were frozen in shock. That was all the time we needed. The special forces team moved swiftly, taking down the terrorists one by one.I saw the terrorist leader, his eyes blazing with hatred, as he reached for the trigger of his gun. I was too quick for him, and I knocked the gun out of his hand. "It's over," I said, my voice firm. The hostages were shaken but alive. We quickly freed them and tended to the wounded. The terrorist leader and his men were taken into custody, their evil plans foiled. As I walked out of the hospital, I felt a sense of pride and satisfaction. We had saved the hostages, and brought the terrorists to justice. I had kept my promise to the chief commander, and now I could finally retire, knowing that I had made a difference.I looked over at the special forces team and nodded in respect. "Thank you, men," I said. "You did a great job."And then I turned and walked away, ready to start my new life, free from the dangers of the past.
