Untitled Episode
Chapter 1
“f**k, yeah.” I murmured, squirming in the bed. A knock on the door woke me up.
“Hello, Miss? I need to clean up the room.” I heard and I stirred in the bed.
I opened my eyes and looked around. My head was seriously banging from the mad consumption of Alcohol, I had the night before.
The night before.
I looked at the bedsheets, trying to figure out where the hell I was. I struggled to stand up, but I felt some sort of soreness, and discomfort down there. Apprehension crawled up inside of me.
Had I been r***d? I looked at the bedsheets, and it was bloody as hell.
“What the f**k?” I gasped and looked at the bedsheets.
Fuck, what I done? I struggled to get up, but my head was super heavy, it was as though it was about falling off.
“Are you in there?” I heard from behind the door.
“Yes. Yes. I need sometime to myself. Can you check back in the next few hours?” I said and the person walked away.
I began to panic. It was not in my character to get drunk and misbehave to the point of having s*x with someone that I couldn’t remember quite well.
I looked around to see if could find any indication of who the person I had slept with last night, but all I could find was an envelope.
I cant believe that I just lost my virginity to an unknown man. I had been keeping myself for my mate, and now, my drunken ass, couldn’t just behave herself for just one day.
My phone beeped for a second and I looked at it. It was my step mom’s message. I shook in fear, and hurried to take a bath. I opened the envelope and saw that there was money and a letter inside.
Thanks for a lovely night, Louise. Here is something for you. It said, and two wads of cash was in the envelope. I sighed and decided to leave the hotel room, covered up, just so that nobody could recognise me.
“Oh she is alive. I wondered if today was the day someone would bring your dead body home for a burial. Where the hell have you been all night, till now?” My step mom, Shauna thundered and I flinched.
I didn’t know how to tell her that I had gotten myself drunk and landed where I had no idea, so I just looked down. “You cant talk? Cat’s got your tongue? Where the f**k were you?” She asked and I looked at her face.
“I… I… Working. I was working.” I finished and she gave me a look. She narrowed her eyes and walked towards me.
“No you weren't. Patricia told me she saw you last night at a club downtown, and you were drinking terribly. Come to think of it, you reek of alcohol.” She said and I looked at her.
I had taken a bath, but of course, my clothes still had proof of alcohol on it. I looked down at my feet.
“It was your pay-day yesterday, wasn’t it?” She asked and I shook my head.
“No.” I said and she looked at me.
“Then where did you get the money to go on a expensive alcohol self date?” Shauna asked and I sighed.
Maya, my step-sister walked down the stairs, looking as majestic and fine as ever. I stared at her in envy. Ever since my Father died, I had not been allowed to do fancy birthdays, buy or wear fancy dresses. Thinking about it was much of an abomination.
Being an illegitimate child, was not the best bet for anybody at all.
“She was probably out partying and drinking with lowlifes.” Maya said and I looked away. She was in no way related to me.
“I know that. Anyway. You have a punishment for your mischief. There are clothes that needs to be washed. Go ahead and get them done.” Shauna said and I sighed.
“What was that?” She asked and I shook my head in a hurry.
“Notting.” I hurriedly walked out of the room and went to get the clothes out so that I could start on the laundry immediately.
I sat down in the backyard of the house, and started to wash them.
I wish I had a friend to talk to about my experience last night. I tried remembering the man faintly, but it was not clear one bit.
My memory was hazy.
I couldn’t tell Shauna what had happened or she was going to insult me and beat me up. Even at 19 years, I was still being beat up by my step-mum.
I sighed and started to spread the laundry.
I looked at my watch. “You shouldn’t spend all day out there. You still need to cook and do the dishes, then go to work. What the hell are you wasting time for doing one set of laundry?” Shauna barked and I flinched.
Living with her had made me so timid, so afraid of humans. And that was why I was wary of people. Of men, of women. I didn’t even have friends, because Shauna succeeded in chasing away all of them.
I finished with the laundry. I walked into my room, and checked my secret locker. I saw that the money that had been given to me by the stranger was still intact.
I sighed in relief.
Shauna had a habit of searching my things, and if she saw such amount of money in there, there might be a problem.
“There’s a ball at the Palace this weekend. According to the Luna,it is a ball to find her son a Luna, so that he can be crowned Alpha on the moon goddess’s Festival.” Shauna said and Maya looked uninterested.
I ignored their discussion about the ball.
I headed out to my workplace, and began my night shift immediately.
Someone walked in, with a group of friends, and his resemblance struck me with shock.
This was Alpha Ryan. But what was he doing in my memory?
Most importantly, why was my wolf dancing happily at the sight of him?
