A SMALL, FINAL ACT OF KINDNESS The Galloway News, June 5. COMPETITION HONOURS LOST FISHERMENA new competition will honour those lost in the recent Fisher King tragedy. The Fisher King’s six-man crew are all presumed dead after the boat was lost at sea on or around May 30. Radio communication from the Fisher King on the night of May 30 indicates that she got into trouble in the Gulf of Corryvreckan, between the islands of Jura and Scarba. Divers have found the wreckage of the boat, and the bodies of the skipper, John Iredale, 29, and deckhand, Martin McGovan, 27. The bodies of Andrew Failey, 23, James Kelly, 22, John Cathcart, 22, and George McCaskill, 19, have not been found.
