Once Alex left, I jogged downstairs and found Max sitting on the couch.
"Alex is going to punish me" I mumble and climb onto his lap.
"Why's he going to punish you?" He had amusement laced in his voice.
"I don't know!" I say and Max chuckles.
"Don't lie. Before Alex left, he told me you were bratty, and you and I both know that you're bratty"
"No! He's lying" I mumble.
"You and I also know that Alex has a lot of patience, and he wouldn't lie" He hums and I whine.
"So what did you do kitten?"
"I said that he had bottom energy"
"Aww that's cute, but if I can recall properly, you're always under us kitten, so you're not one to talk" He hums and I blush.
"Shush!" I huff and he chuckles.
"You're taking Alex's side" I huff.
"I am" He chuckles and I slap him.
