Story of Lenardo

The Start of the Downfall for Lenardo Da Silva the six (6) year old boy who had all his joy taken from him in a blink of an Eye. It all started when Lenardo first meet his Dad, Lenorado grew up in the city of Georgetown Guyana with his mom and his Step-Dad named Kevin but in the streets his so-called name was Spike, Spike never felt the through love of a father, so he couldn't showed it to little Lenardo at the time Lenardo had the thoughest time trying to keep a smile on his face his mother whose name is Cathrine was barely managing. She worked two Jobs in two shiifts she work a 9am to 5pm in the Day as a Clerk and then she did a 8pm to 3am in the nights as a waitress she was doing as much to provide for her boy, Lenardo didn't know his father and sice his mother never spoke of his Dad all the father figure he only knew was Spike, Spike was famous for being a total let down but he respected Lenardo since the boy was at a young age but he never liked him he just showed him the respect because of Cathrine. When Lenorado reach the age of fourteen (14 ) years he develop the habbit to speak to his self for what ever was bothering him he did it even around people he didn't care, His mother had gone into a stage whereby she no longer feels obligated to do two Jobs providing that lenorado was at that teenage stage she figure he do a part time job after school to ensure he gets his books and whatever he needed allong with Job experience and exposure to work Lenardo begin to work at local Mechanic Shop where he work as a tools boy then he started with airing up of the car tyre,The job was something Lenardo find an intrest in and began to be fascinated in what he do but back home things drifted in a sour department for Cathrine she was working to provide for Lenardo with her two jobs but as the boy was old enough she leave one of her job to just have the time for herself to get the rest that she never had, when Lenardo was a boy. She was finally getting but it came with a price and the price she either payed or feel pain since Spike never work he never had money and that simply means Cathrine had to fund him with what ever he wants he was the owner for the flat that they lived in so Cathrine had no where to go and no choice so she tried her best to please Spike with everything that he requsted to have when Cathrine couldnt make the funds to give Spike she normally steal Lenardo cash to give him Lenardo was getting good with his mechanical skills everyone in the neighborhood was impressed they all wanted him to do something on their vehicles servicing it making sure lenardo is the person looking after your car means that your vehicle is being dealt with properly you see everyone was impressed except for two people and that was the said persons Lenardo live with his mom and spike his mom was not a fan of his mechanical skills because Lenardo started to miss class unpourposley to learn the trade that means his grades was getting low and Spike didn't like the idea that Lenardo was growing and shaping to become the man for the house so Spike dispised the idea of him working even tho he borrowed/steal Lenardo money. Lenardo was getting the neighbor attentions with his skills but his ability to talk to his self grew more stronger, The more Lenardo learn about Cars Trucks and the rest of the machinery he find it difficult to be his self and talk to someone instead he only knew one person that could answer him when he speaks and that was his self. Cathrine start to ineract with her son more than usual asking him to do as she asked him to do so she can monitor his behavior, Lenardo love his mother and do anything in his mind that he thinks is just to protect and serve her as his Queen and Mother. As Lenardo work at the Mechanic Shop he meet all sort of people that liked him and some who laughed at him, some who envys him at the age of fifteen (15) he was a young man with a great ablitiy dispite his slight disorder he had talking to his self, He was the offically the bread winner for his house his mother was relying on him majority of the time to come up with the cash for the utilies bills it was one of his responsiblities she hated that her son wasn't getting to attend school but she couldn't fight the help that he was giving her since Spike was such a total let down Lenardo mother came up with the great idea to spend as much time with her son on the weekends Lenardo and his mom would take walks to the seawall the mall and hang out some simple sites it was away for her to connect with lenardo, he was getting the explosure and was excited and grateful for every moment, Lenardo had never go anywhere on his own, and since kids that know him and saw him with his mother they tease him for spending his time with his mother and not his own peers, One day Cathrine and Lenardo went for there small walks and Cathrine stumbled upon an old friend that she didn't see in some years and Lenardo was introduce and then Cathrine introduce Patrick to Lenardo, as they started conversating with the each other Lenardo notice something that he haven't seen with his mother and that she was happy to be around someone and to talk and connect with them Lenardo having no knowledge on when and how to put over something smartly that is on his mind, So while Cathrine and Patrick were speaking to each other Lenardo just came out and boldly ask his mother do you like this Gentleman more than Spike, Cathrine laugh shamefully but she wanted to say something but before she could Patrick interupted her and said your mommy is just an old friend and i wish she could be apart of my life it is something I long for but I have been married for some time now, Cathrine was built up with joy until the last part, she was just sadden of the fact Patrick had married, she then told Patrick that she had a husban and that his name is Kevin and that he is the father of Lenardo, Lenardo that was tooken back with his mother calling Spike his father he started saying no mom he is not he is not my dad your misleading the gentleman she felt a bit bad and was trying to dismiss Lenardo quickly but Lenardo started talking to his self and then as Patrick saw that he ask is he okay and Cathrine feeling a shame of Lenardo ask patrick for an excuse and she took Lenardo and rush out with him and she start telling him to stop and behave his self, snap out of it Lenardo but he would not stop so Cathrine started yelling at Lenardo he was hearing his mother and seeing her angry at him for the first time made him cry but Lenardo could not help the ability/disorder he have so he scream out and ran but as he ran away from Cathrine she was about to chase after him but she gived up on him and she stood and watch him ran away while she stood there Patrick caught up to her and ask what happen Cathrine scared and confuse she just stood there and said nothing, Lenardo was not a boy who knew the city very well he only know his neighbourhood and his home since his work was right in the neighbourhood he had no reason to step out of his comfort zone. Lenardo was running through the City of Georgetown and he had no one he knew and by the time Lenardo realize it he ran far enough from the spot on which his mother was Lenardo meets with two young lads who was from the City but they were from the rear end of Town and they were, nothing but trobule but Lenardo didn't see it nor know it and they started to talk to him introducing there self to Lenardo as Thomas and Mark they dressed a certain manner that Lenardo was not acustom too they then ask Lenardo what was he doing in town he said he stood there and didnt know what to say. Cathrine and Patrick set out for a search to find Lenardo but for Cathrine it was searching for a neddle in an a sack she check for the local spots she think Lenardo might have gone but couldnt find him as they continue there search Lenardo was about to be convert into becoming a Bad boy Mark and Thomas got Lenardo to talk but not only to them but also to his self the boys werent scared or didn't laugh at his dis-order but they certainly use it to there advantage they toll a bus to go down the small kitty district and as they went to that journey, Lenaardo was questioning his mind if it safe for him since he never went out of his comfort zone while at the park/town Cathrine and Patrick continue there search for the Lenardo but as Cathrine search for her son with Patrick she stumbled upon the last person that she would ever wanted see it was Spike and he had no explanation for being there he was suprise to see Cathrine with someone else Spike became furious and started to attack Cathrine and slap Cathrine and at no time Patrick was not going to allow that to happen infront of him so he pushed back Spike and then the two men square off and scrambled at each other while Cathrine try to part them but Spike realising he had no chane at beating Patrick went for his Knife and he did what the unthinkable and stab Patrick in his foot and then too his belly but when Spike see the blood he made a run for it and leave Cathrine and Patrick there while Lenardo just arrived in kitty the Golden City, Lenardo arrived there and didnt know what the boys were up too he try his best to fit in with the guys because he was finally around his peers and he believe that he was about to fit in the boys and make a repution for his self, the boys were standing outside of the local BOUNTY CHICKEN Store and Mark came up with an idea that involes Lenardo to do something crucial and he explain what he wanted them to do Mark said we will go in the Chicken Store and we will all pick up 4 chickens in our hands and me and Thomas will go through the exit at the back door to see which the security will catch us first for fun but Lenardo job was to run through the entrance but Mark aldreay had his plan to leave Lenardo inside as the bait for his self and Thomas to leave smothly the three boys step into the store and was about to commence the plan when Thomas pick up his chicken he ran straight out of the exit and made a run for it while the attention was on thomas , Mark made a dash but an police officer of the law was coming in the front entrance so when Lenardo pick up his chicken and made his run the officers chase behind him but Lenardo thought he could make the entrance running and laughing but was not so lucky as he laughs and ran thinking it was fun to do something like that Lenardo got shot by the officer in his foot after hearing freeze but didn't stop, Lenardo drop to the ground infront of the entrance gate on his belly and the officer push him over and hand cuffed him then proceed to call an ambulance, Mean while cathrine took Patrick to the hospital so that he can get the medical attention that he so deserve as the doctor rush out to Cathrine she started crying when ask her relationship with Patrick cathrine stood there crying so the nurse just suggested she may be the wife with the state that Cathrine was in, shaken and broken up. As Cathrine stood there crying and thinking that it her fault for what happen to Patrick she couldnt stop thinking that it was Spike who did this and she will identify him if she has to so he can go behind bars she stood there developing a more serious hate for Spike as Cathrine walk to a seat to sit down she saw an ambulance with a young man coming out of it she then look closer just to saw Lenardo lying on a stretcher she rushed to him to ask what happen but Lenardo remebered what happen at the park and felt that his mother neglecteed him on the way she treated him he was furious so he close his eyes and turn his face Cathrine started to think she haave another big issue but this was with her son she didnt notice the handcuffed on Lenardo but Cathrine was doing all she could to finding out what happen she then went to enqurie what happen she was inform that her son was shot and shortly after she meet an officer who was coming in to keep guard at Lenardo, room she ran to him and ask officer what happen to my son why was he shot and the officer said i wasn't on the scene but i learnt that this young boy was involed in a robbery, cathrine Shouted out NOT MY SON! the officer smiled and said we all say so she couldnt believe that Lenardo had done something like that it was not something she know her son to do he was honest and never was expose to such a life style Cathrine knew Lenardo and she doubted the officer, The officer stated he was given orders to guard him and he cant say the boy is innocent because he woon't have get shoot and that means the boy most likely to be a thief undercover Cathrine couldnt have hear that providin that she knows her son so well she started hitting at the officer and crying but the officer just push her off and walk his way just standing there Cathrine was thinking of something to protect her son and she had to find out the truth about what happen at that store so she made it her duty to go and find out but she wanted to check on both Patrick and Lenardo so she went to a nurse ask her for small favor to help her into the room of Lenardo because the officer was in there she get the opportunity to see her son Cathrine hugged him and ask him why did he do it Lenardo said did what the officer said your a thief stop putting an image infront of your mother Lenardo said i am not a thief and the officer said you are! then cathrine said stop getting into my son and me conversation shut up the officer said you shut up Lenardo couldn't hold up what was going on with everything he just snapped and started talking to his self and he repeated everything thing that happen but his fear was so loud in his voice Cathrine knew for a fact that her son didn't know what had happen, The officer looked as Lenardo repeat his self and keep talking to his self he repeated the plan that Mark made with him and Thomas the officer heard the name and he jump up and said what are the names you just said there but Lenardo couldn't control his self and the officer belive that Lenardo was acting out a role so he can get off not knowing that way how Lenardo is and the dis-order he got. The officer try to shake him out of it but Lenardo couldn't be stopped and Cathrine keep yelling and Lenardo scream and yell so Cathrine yell for the nurse and the nurse came with the pentazocine injection and knock him out completly. after the argument that happen with Cathrine and the officer she and him was place out side of the room and they stood there not mentioning nothing to each other not making no eye contacts or anything after a fifteen (15mins) span the nurse came out of the room that Lenardo was and stated that he is ok and that he was resting up Cathrine smiled and was happy to know that her boy was ok the officer ask the nurse when could i go back into the room and Cathrine responded never he put a smark on his face and sit down a way from the door. Cathrine was going to get some water from the cooler when a nurse approach her and told her that her husband is upstairs in a stable condition Cathrine jump and then remebered that she was out with Patrick and she shouted out oh! yes can i see him and she wented up to see him as Cathrine made way up to see Patrick the nurse at the enquries area had send up someone to Patrick room Cathrine not knowing boldy walk in and was face with meeting the real wife of Patrick, Patrick then said to cathrine this is my wife Lisa and from the look of disghust on Lisa face, Cathrine said i don't mean to interupt and try to head out but Lisa wasn't taking that head out so easily she ask cathrine for them to meet outside and discuss what transpired since Cathrine would be the main eye witness Lisa was Lawyer and she wanted this incident to go to court and she wanted to find the person who did this to her husband and make sure they spend time cathrine started to explain to Lisa that her self and Patrick was in the park with her son and after they went for some stuff to eat and she then went more in details about what happen Lisa listend to Cathrine and then told her to wait outside she wish to speak to Patrick alone as Cathrine waited she could hear Lisa yelling at Patrick for causing this on his self for running out on little dates with cheap whores etc.. as Cathrine listen she couldn't bare it and approach the Door. When Cathrine open up the door to Patrick's room she notice that Lisa paused and look at her Patrick said Cathrine how are you please join us Lisa said no you paid for to eat something she should be grateful let her go be in the clubs or something work a pole or something, Cathrine look at Lisa in anger and attack her Lisa couldn't fight off Cathrine but she managed to take her off of her and Lisa rush to the door called the nurse and instructed her to get this Lady out of the her husband the nurse assume Cathrine was Patrick Wife and said but you can't let his wife leave his side, Lisa went up and start to explain to the nurse that Cathrine is a low life stripper that pose as her to get her Husband's and herself money because she know that they were sucessful lawyers and Judge,Cathrine didn't get what Lisa was talking about and went to Patrick bed and ask are you a judge now Patrick smiled and said she is the Judge i am a lawyer Cathrine was scared and all thoughts flash in her mind she started off saying sorry to Lisa but it wasn't enough Lisa told Cathrine leave and don't ever return Patrick nooded his head and said she is my friend and you can't do that Lisa then replied she brought her boyfriend to robb you and to make sure you were injured so it could look real open your eyes, Cathrine say i am afraid i would never do Patrick that but I will leave as Patrick watch Cathrine leave he was sadden of the fact that she is the person who brought him to the hospital and he sure Cathrine hands were clean with setting up her boyfriend to rob him, Lisa begin to identify some problems she notice with the hospital and the room Patrick could not stand her nagging for everything so he summon the nurse to escort Lisa because he wanted some rest Lisa was angry at Patrick but she waited outside and she sit down outside with nothing to do. Cathrine rush down stairs and was checking on Lenardo condition but he was still asleep and the officer stayed seated out side the door Cathrine sit in the opposite direction and as they waited they said nothing to each other for almost thirty (30minutes) but the silence was finally broken from a ringtone from Cathrine phone it was her Neighbour Raffel and Denise they called and told Cathrine that Spike let the house on fire and drove off from the premisses but they had called the Fire Services shortly after and the fire was putted out just in time but she should come take a check of the house and make sure, she has no other major dames but the bulding burning Cathrine explained to Raffel that Spike had hit her and stabbed a friend she was with and she even even explained that Lenardo was shot by the Police and that he was involed in a robbery. Raffel couldn't believe it he said that not so, That not the Lenardo that we know what's gone into him Cathrine then said he was influence by some boys that are of his age. Lisa came down on the floor that Lenardo just to saw Cathrine on the same floor as Lisa walks by the Officer recgonize who she was, so he stand up pay respect by bowing to her after Cathrine kept seated Lisa then told the Police Officer does the mule in the corner has no respect for her master and she laughed wickedly the officer laugh and then told Cathrine to stand and show respect to Judge Cathrine gotten up quickly and do same as Lisa pass Cathrine she laughed and said hi slut Cathrine who fill with anger could not have retaliate so she bow her head with tears of anger coming down her face but as Lisa walked off she stop and notice the officer was infront of the same hospital door as Cathrine was so she called out to the Officer and slowly walk towards him enquring from him are you guarding a criminal he sayed yes mam the son of the mule he is a thief Cathrine stand up immediately and said stop it Lisa shouted at cathrine telling her to hold her tounge Lisa the find out in details about Lenardo incident she laugh when she heard that Lenardo didn't know what he was doing and that he have an dis-order Lisa told the officer thes peolpe are master mind criminals and she was eager to give Patrick the news she then told the officer to keep an eye on the mother she might have sweet fingers and she continue on her way to where she was going.
