Chapter forty - Something is suspicious here

I let out a growl when I see all the guards surrounding her. 

How dare they stare at my mate like that. 

I know that most of them here are werewolves and they can't control themselves when they see a woman like that but they should go and find someone else, not their future Luna. 

"So you want her to be you Luna now?" My beast asks. 

Had it been I'm not worried about my mate right now, I'd give him the perfect answer he deserves. 

They open up and give me way and I walk over to her. 

From the look she is giving me right now, I can tell that she's scared and enraged at the same time. It's like she's waiting for an opportunity to stab me or something. 

Well, good luck with that. 

The only thing that's tormenting me is that she's naked in front of these hungry wolves.

I feel like piercing their eyes out of it's socket. 

I hurriedly walk over and cover her from their view. 

I know we are not in good terms with her now but that doesn't mean that I'm not jealous and protective of her. 

"Step back or I won't hesitate to stab you in the heart" she threatens and points the knife at me. 

She's kidding, how can she possibly stab someone in the condition that she's in. 

She's shaking all over and it's evident that she's weak. 

But she's doing a great job being courageous. 

She's completely naked with only an amulet wrapped around her tiny slim neck. 

She looks absolutely stunning like that. Her t**s facing right at my face, begging to be touched and her slim hips waiting to be wrapped around. Let's not forget her P-part, even though she has covered it with her legs, I can still she the hair growing on her private parts, so red and eye catching. Her slim legs are still shaking, making me want to walk over there are caress her beautiful thighs. How I wish she'll stay like that forever, just for me. 

Hey! Snap out of it, she's holding a knife and she might hurt herself if I'm not careful. 

I doubt that she can ever hurt anyone in this room. 

"Drop the knife down" I say in a stern voice. 

"No, you son of a b***h, how dare you take advantage of my unconsciousness" she says. 

Is this supposed to be a question or an accusation?. Because I am confused right now. Whatever but how dare she call me that. 

She has no idea what I'm capable of doing to her. 

Who told her that I took advantage of her. I mean, I have every right to do that but it didn't even cross my mind. 

Well, somehow. I kinda stole a kiss from her and did some other things but that doesn't mean she can call me names like that. 

She really needs to know her place and I'll show her right now. 

I start to walk close to her and as if she knows what my intentions are, she places the knife on her chest, near her heart. 

"If you move an inch closer to me, I won't hesitate to stab myself to death, it's what you want by the way" she says. 

What on earth is her problem?. 

Why did the moon goddess have to punish me by giving me this stubborn creature as my mate?. 

"Don't you dare!" I growl before I could even process the words in my brain. 

I'll assume it's my wolf responsible for that. 

I try to move close to her and she pushes the knife in her chest, piercing herself a little. 

She is the one that is hurt but I feel the pain too. 

If I'm going to accept her as my mate then, it's going to be hard for the both of us. 

Maybe it's better to just let go of her. 

It won't take long before I find a Luna in this pack. 

"Ma'am, please stop hurting yourself" Emily pleads with her. 

She diverts her attention from me and to Emily whose standing by the door. 

"It's better to die in my own hands than..." I cut her sentence when I grab her and throw the knife from her hand. 

"Let go of me, you monster" she shouts and tries to free herself from my grip. 

She look so tiny in my body. 

I ignore her struggles and pick up my shirt from the floor and put it on her, covering her body. 

"Let go of me!" she shouts again. 

I never imagined that she will be this strong. 

She's still weak compared to me. 

"Let go of me or I'll kick you in the balls" she manages to force the words out of her mouth. 

Her face is now covered with my body and her tiny little breasts are busy rubbing over my stomach, making my body tense. 

I thought she was kidding until when I feel her knee hit my groin. 

"f**k!" I curse. 

It really does hurt but I still didn't let go of her. 

I hold her tightly as I try to suck up all the pain. 

I stood there for almost a minute till the pain is gone, a little. It's bearable now. 

I hear growls all over the room when I'm finally back to my senses. 

It's all the wolf guards. They feel like this minute creature is a threat. 

"Nobody move a muscle, I'll deal with her alone" I order them through the mind link. 

They all stop on their attempt to attack her. 

She's still trying to free herself from my grip but still to no avail. 

I turn her around and now her back is touching my body, her ass touching my covered hard on. I don't know why but just holding her like this makes me feel turned on as hell. 

"You abducted us and now you're trying to..." I close her mouth with my left hand as I hold her tightly with the other one. 

I don't know what I'm going to do to stop her from acting all bitches. 

She's somehow worst than my sister. She bites my hand with so much force that I'm forced to open her mouth. 

"You have taken away my innocence and now you're trying to hand me over to this ruthless men, I should have known that you are an animal" she cries out. 

Oh! So, she thought that I raped her, why didn't I think of that. 

She keeps cursing at me and throwing tantrums at me till she got me enraged by saying. 

"I doubt that you're even a real man, a real man would never take advantage of an unconscious person, you're a coward". 

OK, that does it, I can't take her insults anymore. 

Had it been it is some other person, I would have severed their heads from their bodies a long ago but I can't bring myself to hurt her, even a little. 

I thought that maybe she might feel the connection we share and calm down. 

I guess I'm wrong, I'm the only stupid one feeling the pull of the bond. 

I let go of her and turn her around to face me again. 

Before she could even process what's happening, I slap her with the speed of lightening and I regretted it instantly.

As soon as my palm fell on her face, she falls on the ground unconscious. 

I run my hand through my already messed up hair. 

Why does she have to be so pushy?. 

Emily runs to her aid. She picks her up from the floor and put her on top of the bed. 

She puts the shirt back on her exposed body and fasten all the buttons. 

I stand there like a statue breathing heavily, not knowing what to do. 

"GET OUT OF HERE, ALL OF YOU" I shout at them. 

They all rush out of the room in a hurry, even Emily stopped what she is doing and heads for the exit. 

"Not you" I stop her. 

"Come and inject her with a sedative" I say. 

She rushes back and start doing what I ordered. 

"And tie her up in the bed, I don't want any scene to be made as soon as she wakes up again" I say and walk out without waiting for her answer. 

I walk back to my room only to find my sister waiting for me. 

When did she even arrive?. 

I hope she didn't hear any of those drama scene. 

"There you are" she says and walk over and hugs me.

It's been days since the moon festival ended. I was forced by my brother to go back to the main pack house. He stayed back at the other house. 

When I asked him why, he said that he wants some time alone after all the dramas that has been happening lately. I don't blame him for that. 

He might be the Alpha but he's not immune to stress. That's why I didn't argue further and went back. 

We have finished with all our human enemies, well, almost. 

That girl suddenly passed out and my brother, being as irrational and unpredictable as he is. He said that she needs to be taken cared of for some reasons I don't know why. 

I have a feeling that there is something that I'm not told but I set myself to find it no matter what. 

Seeing my brother becoming bipolar all of a sudden is eating me up. I know he's not the nicest person on earth and he's not the worsts, like everybody thinks he is. 

But the attention he's giving that human girl is something to be suspicious about. 

I decide to give him a surprise visit today. 

So I ask one of the drivers to drop me off. 

I'm not in a mood to run all the way there. 

The house feels silent as I walk in. 

I can only see the guards and the maids roaming around. 

I decide to go to his room straight away and surprise him like I have planned. 

I have taken the first step when I see him running out of his room followed by Emily, Beta Harry's wife. 

So she's also still here I see. 

I quickly hide under the stairs. 

I don't want him to see me. 

He runs past me and heads to the E.R. 

What am I missing here?. 

I quietly follow them from behind, making sure not to be seen by anyone. 

I doubt that they even know I'm following them. 

I stop by the door and I can see some of what is happening in the room. 

Thank goodness I have the power of hiding my scent from anyone, otherwise there's no doubt my brother will spot me and my plan will be ruined. 

He walks over to the girl. 

I can see she's even holding a knife in her hands. 

Is she kidding me?. 

She thinks that knife can kill one of us, so stupid. 

I wait to see how my brother will show her place but he didn't. 

Instead, he let's he continue with her stupid threats. 

She even went as far as piercing herself, close to the heart. 

I never knew that humans have turned this stupid. 

He finally got hold of her when Emily interrupted her. 

Why isn't he killing her already?. 

He picked up a shirt from the floor and covers her body with it. 

Seriously, what am I missing here?. 

I have no doubt that this is my brother's shirt and I saw this exact shirt on her body on the day of the moon festival but when I asked for explanation, I was given none. 

Sometimes I wish I could become an Alpha just like my brother, then nobody can question my decisions. 

She keeps threatening him and he didn't do anything apart from holding her tightly in his body. 

She even hit him in the balls but still no blood was shed. 

Please can someone please tell me what's happening here. 

The brother I knew I have would never take this s**t, not from any woman alive. 

She kept abusing him but he just let her. 

I was about to get in there and suck the life out of her. I can't take this anymore. 

She's abusing the Alpha. The greatest Alpha ever known and he's doing nothing to stop her. 

I stop with my intentions when I hear her accusing him of taking away her innocence. 

What the heck! He really did sleep with her, or did he rape her?. Only God knows. 

I decide to stay and watch the show silently. 

My brother has messed around with many women, both human and supernatural. I mean he's so handsome and powerful, every woman would throw herself at him, if he wasn't my brother, I would have been one of those women too. 

But none of them ever accused him of something like this. 

They wouldn't even dare. 

I was brought back from my train of thoughts when I heard the sound of a palm on someone's face. He has slapped her across the face. 

Seriously, he just slapped her.

 I was expecting to see her head in his hand or on the floor. 

I hurriedly walk away when I heard him shout. 

"GET OUT OF HERE, ALL OF YOU". 

I vamp sped back to his room. I won't risk him seeing me over there. 

I drop my bag on his bed and start to walk up and down the room. 

When has my brother become so soft?. I mean he severed the head of her friends only days ago and now it's getting hard for him to do so with her. 

Is he keeping her as some sort of f**k toy or is it more than that?. 

"No, this can't be possible" I say, as the thought came across my mind. 

I mean it's possible, I've witnessed it first hand, having a human mate. 

My parents are a typical example. 

My mom's a human, with no super powers and my father is an Alpha, I mean, werewolf. 

He was the leader of this pack before my brother. 

Back then it was only werewolves but now I can't really count the number of supernatural beings under my brother's rule. 

But the story is different. 

My mom wasn't my father's enemy. 

I'm not sure yet. I have to find out what's going on before it's too late. 

With this behaviour of her, it won't take long before my brother sucks the life out of her. 

Now it's up to me to find the truth. 

I hear his footsteps walking to his room. I quickly sit down and compose myself, as if I just arrived here now. 

He walks into the room and he stops when he sees me sitting in the room. 

I quickly get off the bed and walk over to him. 

"There you are" I say, pretending to sound normal. 

I hug him. 

He hesitates a little but he hugs me back. 

He smells like alcohol. 

I release him and walk back to one of the couches in the room and sit. 

He follows me and sits too. 

"When did you arrive"?" he asks. 

I know he wants to know if I heard anything that went on between him and his "special patient". 

"I arrived about a minute ago, I thought you were in the bathroom" I lie. 

He let out a relief breath which he thought I didn't notice as well. 

Sorry Bro, I know everything that happened here today. 

The only question next is why?. 

He excuses himself and walk into the toilet to take a bath.

He walks out of the bathroom after almost spending one hour. 

He is already dressed up I see. 

"So what brings you here?" he asks. 

Well, here goes nothing. 

"I just came to see my brother" I say and force a smile on my face. 

It's really hard to lie when he can read everything in your mind, but thanks to my shield powers, he can't read much. 

"I was also wondering if that girl has woken up already?" I ask. 

He stares at me for a while and I can see his muscles tense. 

"Yes, she has finally regained consciousness but she's sleeping now, why do you ask?" he returns the question to me. 

"I want her, I want to get this over with, once and for all".
