Chapter thirty nine - Threatening to kill them

I look from side to side but I still can't get to recall when I get to this place.
I try to get off the bed but my body feels so weak.
"Hey there, how are you feeling?, I'm really glad that you're finally awake, we thought you'd never come back" she says with a smile on her face.
Who's she?.
I want to talk but my face is covered with something.
I reach out and peel it off my face.
"Hey, be careful, you have to lie down and get some rest, you are pretty much exhausted as it is" she says as I try to get out of the bed.
"No, I want to get out of here as soon as possible, my friends are in danger" I say.
If I'm here, that means Carly and Martha are somewhere around too.
I hope they are still alive.
"Which friends are you talking about ma'am, you need to rest or else you'll pass out again" she says calmly.
This woman seems kind, maybe I should listen to her.
I hope she saved us from those evil creatures.
I lie back on the bed.
She walks over to me.
"Are you OK?" she asks.
How will I ever be OK when I don't know the condition that my friends are in but I still nod at her.
She takes a syringe and injects something into the I.V. that's connected to my body.
"Here you go, this will make you feel strong" she says and smiles.
I force a smile at her too.
I lay there silently for about ten minutes waiting for her to tell me about my friends conditions but she didn't say anything.
"Excuse me please" I call out to her as I try to sit up.
She's right, the injection that she gave me made me feel a bit stronger.
That's when I realize that I'm wearing a completely different cloth.
It's not that hideous dress that I was made to wear but something more disgusting.
I don't know much about male clothing's but this is definitely a man's shirt.
She walks over to me.
"How can I help you?" she asks.
I want to ask her how this shirt ended up in my body but I have other important matters to deal with now.
"Where am I and by any chance did you save me and my friends from those creatures?" I ask.
"Firstly, you're in the emergency room and I'm you're nurse for the time being and secondly, I didn't save you from anybody and I don't know where your friends are" she answers.
I'm in an emergency room?. That means I'm currently in a hospital.
What on earth happened to me?.
If she didn't save me then who did?.
"And who are your friends by the way?" she asks.
So she doesn't even know my friends.
"They are Martha and Carly" I answer.
"I don't know that names" she says and I can tell she's telling the truth.
Maybe she didn't understand who I'm talking about.
"One is a bit chubby and she has painted her hair in many colours and the other one is slim and a bit taller than me, the colour of her hair is black" I explain further, I hope she will recognize them with the description I gave her.
She keeps looking at me with an unsure look in her eyes.
"We were kidnapped and brought to some Alpha many days ago, do you know of any man called Alpha around here, I think maybe they are still with him" I say, hoping that she will finally know who I'm talking about.
"Ohh! You're talking about those two girls" she says in recognition.
Thank goodness she finally recognized them.
I try to get off the bed.
"Let's go find them then, I can't wait to see them again" I say happily.
"Ahhh! About that, I don't think it's a good idea" she says, trying to avoid my gaze.
"Why?" I ask.
"I don't think the Alpha will allow that" she says.
"The Alpha?" I gasp.
This is unbelievable.
"Yes, the Alpha kept you under our care, you passed out a week ago so he brought you here" she explains.
"How many Alphas do you have around here?" I ask, because I'm sure that rude Alpha would never do that, he'd only be glad to see me dead.
If I get out of here alive, I'm definitely gonna find out what this Alpha means and there importance in the society, so that I'll know how to stay away from them.
"We have only one Alpha over here, why do you ask?" she asks.
"Who brought me here?" I ask suspiciously, ignoring her question.
"It was the Alpha, Alpha Adrien, you passed out and he brought you here just like I told you earlier" she answers.
Alpha Adrien, I like that name.
"He was the one that ordered for you to be brought here from Port's ville but now he's helping you regain your health, I've never seen the Alpha doing something this nice to anyone but I know better than to ask, I mean, he even made you wear one of his T-shirts" she says, pointing at my body.
Scratch that now, I hate the Alpha's name.
What the f**k!
I'm wearing that son of a b***h's shirt.
I should have guessed.
I jump off the bed this time. I'm really angry.
How dare he take advantage of my unconsciousness.
Now I'm gonna take my friends and get the hell outta this place no matter what but first, I gotta get rid of this filthy shirt I'm wearing.
I start unbuttoning it from the top. I'm not wearing anything underneath as it is.
This man really got the nerves.
First, he had us kidnapped and secondly, he took advantage of me, how dare he.
"What are you trying to do miss?" the nurse asks as she moves closer to me.
I finally unbutton the shirt and toss it on the ground.
It's better for me to walk naked than to have this monster's shirt on me.
"Please miss, calm down and put the shirt back on" she says calmly, trying to reach over and touch me.
"No, I refuse to hear all your lies, how would I know that you're not even working with them" I refuse.
"Ma'am, you just woke up after many days, you're tired and confused" she says.
Me! Confused. I think she's mad.
"You think I'm confused, for your own information, I'm not, just let me go before I do something we will all regret" I threaten her.
What could I possibly do to her, she's stronger than I am from all aspects and now I'm suspecting she's one of those mean creatures too.
"I'm sorry but I can't let you go anywhere, it's the Alpha's order" she says.
So I'm right, she's one of them.
I look around me to see if I can find a weapon to scare her off, that is if she can be scared off.
Lucky for me, I find a knife on top of the drawer next to the bed.
I quickly grab it and point it at her.
She shouts in surprise or fear, I don't know which on but she just shouted.
"Please ma'am, let go of the knife, you need to have some rest, you're not thinking straight" she pleads.
"No, you are going to take me to my friends and we're leaving this place no matter what" I insist.
She's somehow right, I'm feeling dizzy as it is but I won't give up. If I give up now maybe I'd be dead before I can even finish resting.
I thrust the knife at her direction when she tries to move closer to me.
A door burst open and many huge men walk in followed by some women.
"What is the problem here, we heard some..." they didn't even finish the sentence when they see me pointing a knife at her.
They start to come closer to me and I can see the nurse disappearing amidst them.
I still didn't stop pointing the knife at them even though I know it wouldn't help in this case.
They have out numbered me but what's the harm in keeping my guard.
"Get out of my way or I'll kill you all" I threaten.
The didn't even budge. This is gonna be tricky I see but I'm not the type to give up this easily as well.
My head starts feeling heavy, so I decide to lean over the bed and continue with my threats.
We stand there staring at each other.
If they try to move forward then I'll point the knife at them. I don't know why they decide to play this game with me.
If they really wanted to, they would have snatched the knife out of my hand already.
I look around to see if there's any other way that I can get out of this place but it seems like there's none.
They have surrounded me from all sides. Even those huge male guards didn't do anything to stop me. They just keep staring at my body.
Well, there's nothing they can do now, I'll stab them to death if they dare try to touch my body.
I just hope that I can find that Alpha and stab him in the heart for taking advantage of me.
I hear a terrifying growl from behind the bunch of people.
I look at the place I heard the growl and there he is, standing and staring at my body, shamelessly.
