Aibek's POV

My thoughts are everywhere as I make my way home. Nothing made sense to me. How? That is all I can think after everything I just saw. 'They're twin flames, 2 souls that become one in the deepest edges of their souls. They are one together, they complete each other in a way that will make them unbreakable, powerful, and unstoppable' Quill's voice echos in my head. I've heard of twin flames before. That is even more rare than second chance mates. It makes no sense to me though, when I learned of them it was said that both of the twin flames must both be born of the moon goddess, blessed with the union of the mystical wolf and her mate. In which they are able to share power.

Anahi doesn't have a wolf, so how are they twin flames? I was pulled out of my thoughts as I pulled into the driveway of my home, The Alpha family home. 'Dad, I need to talk to you'. I linked my father as I walked into the house, running up the stairs. Without waiting, I walked into his office. Seeing he was on the phone, I just took my seat in front of him, wondering who he could be talking to, as it didn't look like a very pleasant conversation. "Have you got things figured out with Anahi yet?" he asks me the second he gets off the phone. "It's a work in progress' I wince, knowing he isn't going to like that answer.

"Well, you may have just run out of time. That was Alpha Kalei Evedane". He nodded his head towards the phone he had just put down. What could he mean by that? Did Quill or Xaloc call and speak with him already? "Why do you sound so worried?" I asked my father, seeing the look in his eyes. "Kalei is coming and will be here within 5 days" my father exhaled. 5 Days??! That wasn't enough time at all, especially if Xaloc and Quill were going to be with her.

Xaloc's POV

I can't believe it, she truly is my mate. No, not just my mate, we are twin flames. Everyone always thought we would be mates because of how close we were as children. I believed them but never did I ever imagine it could be something stronger than that. The strongest, actually. I looked over at her sleeping form as we drove back to Anahi's home. We had to get her a bag quickly as possible so we didn't cause any issues with being on the territory.

"I can't believe you guys are twin flames. I mean it makes sense, but to actually be alive and see twin flames, that's crazy", Quill whispers, trying not to awake Anahi. We haven't talked about it, but we know she is exhausted, after the rejection and the mental exhaustion of everything today. Right after we found out we were twin flames, she fainted in my arms. We would have been worried had we not known what happened between the twin flames after finding each other. "I have always known that we were bonded in a way no one could ever understand", I looked at Quill through the rear-view mirror, smiling to myself. Our silence was interrupted by the ring of my phone. "It's dad," I said as I answered the phone.

*Phone call between Xaloc & Kalei*

X: Hey dad, what's going on?

K: Hey son, I heard from your brother that you finally showed yourself *chuckles*

X: *smiling* Yeah, I couldn't wait any longer. I almost murdered the future alpha of this sorry excuse for a pack.

K: Just make sure you keep your cool long enough to get her here safely

X: I will, father, don't you worry, I have been waiting for 10 years and have suffered more than anyone not seeing her.

K: I know, I will be there in 5 days. I hope she will be happy to see your mother and I

X: She will be a father. Don't worry. We will see you in 5 days.

*End of phone call*

After the call with my father, I am stuck thinking of the time I spent without Anahi these last 10 years. The pain I felt was nothing to the rage that burned deep in my veins at the thought of her being kept from me. "You have her now, no one can take her from you or you from her. Keeping you guys apart will be hard to do without making both of you go feral, even harder once you're mated. Separating you guys would cause a m******e" I smile at Quill, knowing what he says is true. Twin Flames can't be separated from each other for long periods of time, especially after mating and marking. Our bond will etch so deeply within us that it will be physically impossible, not to mention very dangerous. W can go feral. Yeah, I think I like the idea of that.

Unkown's POV

I can't believe it, all this time waiting and she is finally 18. It's time to finish what my father started. I reached for the photos sitting on my desk, ones my gamma had dropped off this morning. She was the epitome of beauty and grace. She looked exactly like her mother. I glare at the Evedane brothers in the photos with her, I cannot let her leave with them. That will make getting my hands on her nearly impossible.

I called for my gamma "get some people gathered. I want her here with me by the morning. I don't care how you have to do it, just get it done." He nods in understanding and heads out to give my orders. I grab the only photo of Anahi by herself, smirking "You will be mine soon mystical wolf, all my hard work will be worth it all."

Anahi's POV

I woke up feeling foggy. I looked around and noticing I was in my living room. The feeling of lightness and being wrapped in warmth. I looked down to see strong muscled arms wrapped around me. I would almost freak out if it weren't for the very familiar scent of Xaloc, I smiled, slowly getting up. "I haven't seen him sleep that peacefully in a very long time "I jumped at the voice of Quill. "Jesus, could you at least make your presence known" I scowl at Quill. He just smirked, shaking his head. "There's the sassy Anahi I know and love", he teases. I looked over at Xaloc, my heart hurting, knowing how much he has suffered in the last 10 years because I suffered the same. "How bad did it get?" I whispered. Already knowing how bad it could've gotten.

Quill sighs, walking towards the couch. I followed him knowing that this was something I needed to sit down for. "He went crazy for many days. We honestly didn't know what kind of day we might have, we based it on how Xaloc would act." I gasped, widening my eyes, that doesn't sound like the Xaloc I know. He was always protective but never went rampant. Quill continued, "We had to lock down the pack house if he decided to stay there for the night, it was never really safe for anyone to be around if he started going through an episode. He never slept because he would always have nightmares." I knew the next part was going to be hard for him to say as he paused and took a deep breath.

"There had even been a point where we had to sedate him because he attacked a member of a pack that was visiting. I mean she did try making a pass at him, but, no the less, he attacked her, all the while snarling that he already belonged to you." I sat there processing what Quill had just told me, trying to understand because that didn't sound like him. "I was ready to give up the Alpha title" we turned to where Xaloc was standing. I got up and ran to him, wrapping myself around him. "You will never have to go through that again", I whispered in his ear. He chuckles "Don't worry about me little mystic". I smiled at his nickname for me. "I will kill all who try to take you from me. This time I won't have to hold back." We just stood there hugging each other, reveling in the feeling of each other.

I stiffen suddenly as a massive mind-link is sent out. "ROGUES" is all I hear before I turn to Quill and Xaloc. "There are rogues in the territory, we need to help them." I say as I head to the door. "We will protect you, but we will not help this good for nothing pack" Xaloc groans. We have no time to argue about that. I need to focus on helping and not getting hurt while fighting, while avoiding shifting into Elara. 'You know you really shouldn't worry about this pack, all they've done is hurt you time and time again.' I hear Elara, and I ignore her knowing what she is saying is coming form a place of ager after what happened today.

We got to the back field of the territory and came face to face with a bloodbath. Dead wolves everywhere, rogues and pack members spread throughout the field. I looked over and saw a little child about to get attacked by a ragged-looking rogue-he snarled while showing his razor-sharp, crooked teeth to the child. Without a second thought, I raced over to them, followed by Quill and Xaloc and threw the rogue into the tree behind us.

I looked up looking for Quill and Xaloc only to see them fighting off a couple of rogues whose attention seemed to turn onto us. Xaloc was finishing off the last rogue in the group that attacked him when I spotted the rogue behind him. This one is probably a beta just by how big it is. He was going right for him, I didn't even think I shifted into Elara.

Aibek's POV

Rogues haven't attacked our pack in many years, so this attack took us all by complete surprise. I was fighting off 2 rogues when everything went absolutely still and quiet. I looked over and saw the most beautiful wolf I had ever seen. She was massive, bigger than any Alpha male I had ever seen. Who was that? I had never seen that wolf in our pack before. "Anahi, NO!" I hear Quill yell as the wolf attacks the rogue prowling towards Xaloc's back. My eyebrows lower as I take in what he just said. Anahi? There was no way she would have been able to hide this for so long. I watch as she glows while tearing that rogue apart without a problem. I couldn't believe my eyes. Xaloc walks over to her and lays his hand on her, as if it were a secret language only those two know, she shifts back and I can't believe my eyes. It's Anahi.
