Chapter 10 - Alone

3 WEEK LATER

Harper’s POV

I layed in bed thinking about tomorrow’s training I had to do for mate. I had to workout with my personal coach which is the beta. Somehow I’m much stronger than I used to be. But I guess I am just growing muscle. Since I found my mate he has been training me to help him with work. I loved pleasing him so I would do anything for him. Even if I got stabbed a couple of times. It was 8:00 now and I rolled over in my bed and fell asleep.

TOMORROW

I woke up at 5:00 with a pounding headache. I grabbed some Advil and practically swallowed them without any water. I got up and changed into some workout clothes. Which was a tank top with leggings. I brushed my teeth put on some deodorant and ran out the door. When I got outside I grabbed a hair tie and put my hair up quickly. I jogged around the territory like I always did and looped back around to my coach. He was standing there waiting for me. I walked over to him and smiled while he just scowled. I let it slide off my back cause I know he is being nice sense mate does it to. I starting staring off into the distance when he round house kicked me in the gut. I fell down and flip back up in ready position.

“Always be on guard”

And with that I punched him square in the jaw. His eyes went pure black. I was ready to train though. He lunged at me and I stepped out of the way with ease. He jumped back up and I threw a fake punch to confuse him then gave him an upper cut. He did a flip as a punched him and tried to kick me square in the the jaw. I caught his foot and flipped him on the ground and jumped on him and grabbed his arm showing him I could dislocate his arm with ease. He tried to get up but I was straddling him in a way that he couldn’t. I started laughing and he took that opportunity to try and get away. I let him but then right when I stood up I kicked him in the knee and he fell I jumped on his back and held him down while holding onto his legs pulling them toward his head. He began tapping the ground to say he gave up and I didn’t buy it. I knew it was a trick. I pulled his leg harder and he groaned in pain. He showed his neck in submission he knew I won and I quickly jumped off so he wouldn’t try anything on me. I began walking away when I heard fast feet rushing toward me. I waited till the right time and delivered a round house kick. I kicked him so hard he flew straight into a tree. The tree snapped in half and I smirked. We both knew I had one and so on that note I went and decided to take a nap.

I woke up but didn’t open my eyes I knew someone was watching me. I studied their breathing to see who it was. It was mate. I stirred in my “sleep” and starting to “wake up”. He walked to the door and opened it again and acted like nothing had happened.

“Hey babe” I said with a smile

“Hey Harper”

“What are you doing here?”

“I just came to give you your first mission”

“Oh really!”

“I’m soo excited. I’ve been training hard for this”

“Good. Meet me outside”

“Okay!”

I ran to my closet and packed undercover clothes. I put a tooth brush in with some toothpaste. I walked over to my weapon closet and grabbed my favorite a Glock 19(Pistol) with some ammo. I reached over for my IWI ACE (Assualt rifle) Next I grabbed my SIG Sauer SSG 3000 (sniper) and I made my way downstairs.

I saw mate and the beta standing at a black Chevy with devilish smirks on their face. I knew they were happy I could help them now. They didn’t say anything but hand me a piece of paper and drop me off any the corner of a road. I looked down at the names.

- Hunter

I have no idea who these people are and why they would want to kill them but mate wants it done so I guess I’ll do it. Why because he loves me and I love him.
