I was still in shock from what had happened as I was sitting in the back of an ambulance truck. One of the paramedics was stitching up what I thought was just a scratch. The scratch was a lot deeper than what I thought it would be and the paramedics said it would leave a scar. A scar of wolf's claws will forever be on my skin and I didn’t like that it was now going to be a reminder.
Earlier, Mateo had told me that someone had died. That person had gotten teared up by the feral Alpha. I heard his scream but I didn't think that it was from an actual attack. I thought that the scream was because the murderer caught him. I didn't know the boy that got attacked but he was my age. I had seen him a few times in the cafeteria at school but I didn't know his name, just his face.
