Nina POV.
Mateo and I sat on a log near the bonfire just talking about everything. "So I heard from Sally that you and your brothers are always moving. Why is that?" Mateo asked me. I wasn't really sure how to explain that to him. Mostly because no one had ever asked me that question. Plus, I wasn’t prepared to answer that question. So I told him a bit of the truth that way I wasn't really lying to him.
"Uh well, my parents got murdered when I was 8 years old. We moved right after that and nowhere really felt like home." I say in a sad tone. "Sometimes I think that we are just searching for a home that we lost", I add. For some reason, I felt like opening up to him and that was something I never did. My brothers are the only ones who I talk to about this stuff. But he made it feel OK
