"Why would we be paired with werewolves?" Zoya asked with tears coming out of her eyes.
"I don’t know," Summer answered with a sad tone.
"Nina, if Mateo is an Alpha there is no doubt he knew about you. That is probably why they all took an interest in you. They probably pretended to be your friends to get close," Asher said.
I still had tears coming down my eyes, so did Zoya and Vienna. Isaac was clearly upset too, but he didn’t show any sign of it. He was quiet and seemed to be having an inner battle with himself.
