For the rest of the week I successfully avoided seeing Kevi again, I made up excuses to Olympia as to why I couldn’t accompany her to any more meetings. It was actually a bit easier for me to convince her because everyone at the office was busy, there was a huge project that needed to be completed quickly.
It was worth a lot of money and involved one of our most loyal and trusted clients so it received top priority, not to mention Aidon and I were working on a way to join the family businesses together. Olympia’s marriage wasn’t business related though it resulted in two huge corporations merging and even if it wasn’t uncommon to see people of our social circles getting married because of financial deals, our parents would never allow it.
