Chapter 3 A few surprisingly busy hours later, Will handed out yet another blue and yellow map for the Estonoa State Park trail system, sending a crowd of happy hikers fully caffeinated out the door. He’d seen almost as many people headed out to the Mud Puppy Trails, riding their bizarre four-wheelers with doors and roll bars right through the middle of town. Whether he understood them or not, the ATV folks were always cheerful and generous with their contributions to the local economy. More people than he expected on such a sunny, cool day wandered several rows of hand-made wooden bookshelves, and most had at least one or two selections tucked under their arms.
