The world which is still in the era of gods and kings. The world where all kinds of beasts exist. In this world exist the special power call Martial Soul. In this world Martial Soul is the most important power for human beings. Martial Soul is the power bestow upon humans and demi-humans by the heaven. This power awakes when a person turn five. Martial Soul can be anything, it can be certain element, a weapon, a plant or a beast. Those people who can train their Martial Soul are call Soul Wielders. Soul power of a Soul Wielder can be measure by a levels which starts from one and finally end at hundred and these levels are also divided into different ranks. Rudra empire is small size empire which rule on rudra island, southern west of the Sura continent. On further west of Rudra empire is Gama empire currently the strongest power of the continent. 9th month of Year 710 of holy calendar. Gama empire invaded rudra empire through western sea coast, the emperor Pavan Shiva of rudra empire and his army fought with all their might but still lost because of Pavan's traitor younger brother Dhama. Pavan saved the lives of his wife Kira and ten year old son Kai make them to escape toward east to Surya empire where their ancestors originated from but in the way Kira in trust her son to her trusted Yami subordinate and went back to capital as she was worried about Pavan. When yami was about to escape with Kai but she was attacked by Vikram's personal guard. Guards caught yami while Kai fall in the nearby waterfall which lead to a sea bay that separate rudra empire from the Surya empire. River flow led Kai to a forest in the western part of Surya empire. .............. Surya empire, deep in sunset forest, at a certain riverbank. There is a kid laying completely wet and unconscious, he is good looking, has black hairs, he is wearing white clothes and have a unique belt around his waist that has a dark blue crystal attached to it. His body suddenly move and he cough out some water, he slowly open his eyes. He has rare deep blue pupils, he looked around as he tried to get up. `ah! what is this place?` he tried to remember what happened before and suddenly looked around with flustered look on his face. The last thing he remember is that they were running toward east as his father told him when his mother suddenly turned around went back toward the palace. He also tried to chase after her but something suddenly hit the back of his neck and he fainted. `Mom! Dad! What happened to them?` he again looked around him in panic as tear welled up in his eyes. Yes he is Kai Shiva son of Pavan Shiva and his wife Kira Shiva. Kai didn't clearly know what has actually happened he just knows that they were attacked by nearby Gama empire when his father's personal soldiers come to led them out of the capital while his uncle start attacking him and his mother. He don't know what happened after they escape and his mother went back. And now when he suddenly wake up and not find anyone can't help but cry after all he is still just a ten year old kid. After crying for more than thirty minutes he finally calm down a little, his eyes are already completely red. He recall that what happened as sudden realization struck him `attackers, yes it was all because of of those attackers, father was still fighting them and mother also went back then where is aunt yami she was still there and what is this place`. He recked his brain but still was not able to figure out that what happened afterward, `calm down Kai calm down, remember what father said keep yourself calm in any situation only in this way you can found the right solution`. He breath deeply then exhale deeply after repeating it several times he finally able to think straight he remember that before leaving his mother leaved him something. He placed his right hand at the blue crystal of his belt, light shone and a piece of rolled paper appear. His belt is a unique storage type tool which let him store things in certain amount. He open the rolled paper, their was something written on it. Kai when you will read this later you might already reached the Surya empire. Mother need to go back to help your father but you remember that no matter what don't rashly try to come back, if everything calm down then we will call you back but till then listen to your aunt yami and obey what she say. Every year at this period of time the city become much livelier because of Surya Soul Fighter Academy's entrance exam. If a person want to become a strong soul master then they need right guidance and best place for that is definitely a soul master academy. Intermediate simply imply to the academy for young kids. Surya academy is the impirial academy which is ranked first in all of the surya empire. Here comes the students from all over the empire, many of which belongs to nobles and even royalties. Today as well like any other day of this month, the entrance of the academy is bit crowded as people try to get admission for their kids. But admission in surya academy is not so easy, first of all the kid have to be below twelve years old, otherwise he can't get admission in first year and will have to try for second year which is even more difficult. For first year entrance the kid not only have to be below twelve years old but even their soul power also have to be over level 15 and also need to pass the practical test. Kids one by one go through age and soul power test. For the age test is very simple, a real expert soul master hold the person's hand and tell their age by checking the bone with soul power. For the soul power test they use a special kind of cylindrical tool which show their level in lines by placing the tool between both palms. People came and goes one after another, there is a middle age man at the test counter who is checking all the students one by one. "Next" the man said and a boy came to the counter, the boy has unique clothing he is wearing a luxurious white robe on very plain clothes. The boy is very good looking and has deep blue pupils. Yes, he is Kai Shiva prince of the former rudra empire. About half a year ago when their empire was invaded and overthrown by Gama empire, he suddenly lost consciousness and when he woke up found himself in unknown place deep in a forest. He tried to got out of the forest about seven days after, in the way he was attacked by many beasts but luckily none of them was too strong and as a formal crown prince he was well train how to deal with them so he was able to got out of the forest. When he reached a nearby town, he survived by the money he has on himself and by selling the things he collected from the forest. Even though he is still a Kid but he is not a normal one, he is not only a talented soul user but also a very smart kid, he utilize the advantage of his rare Martial Soul to survive. After few weeks he got a news that rudra empire is completely overthrown and the formal emperor and his family has been executed. He has strong urge to go back but he didn't even know how to go back and even if he go back will it change anything? He became depressed for several days, reading the same latter his mother leaved him again and again after which he realized that he can't be break down like this, his parents told him to stay strong no matter what. At that time he not only has sadness in his heart but also has hatred toward Gama empire and even more toward his uncle who betrayed his father. There was only a single sentence in his mind `I need to get stronger, way stronger than anyone else only in this way can I get my revenge for mother, father and everyone else`. Now after half a year he is no more like an immature child but feels like a mature adult. The man subconsciously looked toward Kai and was able to feel a stable aura from him that is something unnatural among the kids of his age. "Your name?" The man asked. "Kai Shiva". "Give your hand" the man checked Kai's age, then placed the cylinder tool in Kai's hand "inject your soul power in it". Kai did as he said and lines over lines light up on the tool, these lines represent level soon the lines climb over two third of the tool. This tool can only measure the soul power up to level 50. As he saw the number of lines the man is stunned, he looked at Kai bewildered as he muttered "32". The man suddenly pulled out a paper write something on it, put a seal and gave it to Kai "go right at the last line" pointed behind himself. Kai followed the instructions and reached a room where 'Vice Principal' was clearly written. He knock at the door "come in" a female voice came from inside. Kai opened the door and entered, there was an old lady is sitting at the chair behind a desk on which a name plate of Mary Jackson is placed, no doubt she is the very vice principal of this academy. "May I come in" Kai asked. Mary nodded toward him and gestured him to come inside. Kai walked in and show Mary the paper that the man gave him. Mary readed the paper then looked at Kai with some surprise, "So you Kai right, you have such a high soul power at this young age, but I have never heard of you before and your family name Shiva, if I remember currently it belongs to the royal family of rudra empire which has fallen just recently then where have you came from". This time Kai was the surprised one he has never thought that this vice principal would know the details of his family name. He tried to calm himself down as he answer "yes I belong to rudra empires royal family, during the war my parents sent me out of the empire to save my life". "And your parents?" Mary asked. "They are no more" Kai took a deep breath as he utter these words, he was so lost that he didn't even realize that Mary has already came before him she placed her right hand over his shoulder as a smooth soul power entered his body which make him relax.
