Stay away from him

1117 Words
It was still raining when Hiro brought Amaya back from the spring. "Do you even understand what happened back then?" He asked. “Do you know what could have happened if I hadn’t shown up?" Hiro ran a hand down his face in frustration as he stared at Amaya. They were behind the pack house. Amaya pressed against the wall. Her head was down. Her eyes fixed on her fingers. She rolled her eyes. Exactly what she needed to know. How'd he know that she was in the spring? She mentioned no one saw her when she left. Or was it Dana who told him? Had she told Tobias too? She shook her. She couldn't possibly run her out. However, she hated the way Hiro stood there, all stressed out and talking to her. She didn't know why, but she wished that she hadn't gone there if she knew it would upset him. 'You suddenly have concern for the boy?' Ena who was questioned. Amaya didn't respond but looked up at Hiro. "I'm sorry." She apologized and when Hiro turned to look up at her, she avoided his gaze. She couldn't stand to stare at him or the scar on his face. The same scar she had been wanting to ask about. "You're sorry?" He glared at her. "Yeah, you should be sorry." He fisted his hands together. He didn't know who this girl was. He didn't understand what was happening either. How he was able to hear her, know when she was in danger. It's not like they had any special connections. But he was still able to feel all that Aside from that, there was something else about her. Something he wanted to find out, but he didn't know what it was. He studied her. His eyes ran down her body. "You should change." He signed after examining the wet clothes on her body and then walked away. Amaya breathed out in relief. For a moment, she felt as though she had been hypnotized just like what had happened at the Luminous Spring. She knew that wasn't ordinary. She made her way inside her room and went directly to the bathroom, where she stripped out of her wet clothes and got into the shower. After her bath, she dressed in a comfortable black t-shirt and a pair of brown shorts that Dana had offered her. She looked down at the baggy clothes and rolled her eyes. Dana was taller and thicker than she was. She was just an average high girl with a normal body size. The sooner got she her revenge over with, the better for her. Although she didn't know exactly where she would go after this was over, she was certain that the Nightfall pack would be her destination. Knock! Knock! She peeked at her door when she heard heavy banging at it. Her face immediately went pale. Was it Alpha Tobias? Had Hiro told him what had happened? Was he angry and came to pack her out? She shuddered. Knock! "Yes, I will be right there." She hurried to the door. She placed her shaky right hand on the doorknob and pulled it open. A part of her heart was relieved when she saw Kazumi standing at the door, with a stern expression on his face. His blue hair was in a ponytail. He wore a white verse over a pair of dark jeans. He had his left hand up at her door frame, while the other was in the pockets of his jeans "Where have you been?" His enraged voice echoed in front of her. She furrowed her brows. "I went out for a walk." She shrugged. She knew she left without anyone's permission given the fact that she was working for him. However, she needed to take a walk around. It was not just a walk, but something she needed to do. It was a necessity. "I see. " He ran his eyes up and down her frame."I need you in my room right now. Do not waste any time." "Wha..." he was gone before she could ask any questions. He needed her in his room. Why and what for? She blinked in confusion. Yet, she knew better than to disobey. She quickly stepped outside of her room, gently closed the door behind her, and scurried to his room. His door was opened as she arrived. So, she didn't bother to knock. With her hands folded behind her, she took a slow and cautious step inside his room. He was sitting on his bed when she came inside. "Don't you know how to knock?" He barked. His eyes stared furiously at her. 'What is wrong with this Kazumi guy and shouting?' Ena rolled her eyes. ‘He has been shouting since we met. 'I don't know.' Amaya shrugged. "I'm sorry about not knocking." She told him with her eyes on the floor. She avoided his eye contact. He and Hiro had different eye colors but they all had that piercing look. A look that could send you squirming. "I overheard you and Hiro talking behind the house." He placed his hands at the edge of the bed. It was so tight that Amaya could see the veins bulging at the back of his big hands. What was he talking about now? "I don't know what it was, but I want you to stop seeing him. Stop whatever it is." He stood up and strolled towards her. Fear erupted in her as she took a step back. "W-why? Would I do that?" She questioned, not so sure of why she did. Of course, Hiro was her mate. She couldn't deny it. She couldn't deny the connection she felt each time they were together. Yet, she didn't know what his problem was. He hadn't claimed her as his mate yet, neither had he made any move toward her. She knew she wasn't supposed to be worried given that, she knew their fate already, but she couldn't help herself. "Do it because I said so. If you don't..." A sinister smile appeared on his face "Then I will have to get rid of you." He told her matter of factly He was close to her this time and she was afraid that he might want to do something to her. "I won't do what's in your mind. But if you want to, we can do it." He said teasingly as he lifted his right hand closer to her cheek. "I'm sorry, I need to get going. I will go prepare your dinner ." She stomped out of the door, without a second glance. Stay away from Hiro, she thought. How could she?
