Elias Two wonderfully relaxed days pass. Lyn seemed a little nervous and sceptical of my behaviour at first, but then apparently decided to enjoy the brief peace. I took care of everything, including making her dinner, stoking the fire and occasionally cleaning up. Together we spent time in front of the fireplace. Both with a good book in hand and in amicable silence. It pains me to have to return to the power games and intrigues in the castle. All the theatre seems to me a heavy burden that I don't want to carry but have to. On Sunday the carriage arrives again, and I pack our things.
