Chapter Twenty-SixI awoke to the incessant sound of buzzing wings. I shooed the creature with a hand and the annoying sound went away for a few blissful seconds before returning, followed by a tiny, angry pitch.
I opened my eyes and glared at Bennty, the tiny pixie I met during my previous stay. She was hovering a few inches above me, arms crossed, face red with indignation. She was about eleven, twelve inches tall, with incandescent wings that buzzed madly behind her.
That angry, tiny pitch came again, her hands moving in agitation.
