ESCAPING
The gutter and water ways were stocked with dirt as usual. the sky was a bit blue and covered with demons like cloud floating in one direction. kidja stood still and completely lost in intense thought. for a moment, he was restless and almost helpless. He walked a step forward and stopped, turned left, right, back and placed his two hands on his head. drums beat from a distance, his heart sinked. The last time drums beat, deadly forces arouse and stood with familiarity. but he was not concerned about that, he was more concerned about something else, his little cousin Kemi.
Just a week back, she was diagnosed with a chronic stomach disease which left her stomach swollen and only surviving with the help of a life support machine. if it was a mere deal, kidja would have found a way to save his little cousin's life whom he loved so much, but that was something he knew at that moment that nothing can happen, there was no help all of a sudden. His cousin Kemi might even end up dying. The doctor had earlier said that Kemi might likely survive a few weeks more. For Kidja, five million was a huge amount of money to make in few weeks. Kidja was just a graduate roaming the street with no job. He was physically Jobless, but there was something in him he never thought ever existed.
Looking down the hill he stood on gave him a clear view of the ocean shore below. it looked beautiful as water flows in, out and drying off almost immediately. tilting up his head a little bit, he eyes caught the beautiful island in the middle of the ocean were the drum beats were coming from. He relaxed his mind and inhaled deeply the air coming directly from the sea, His eyes closed and he breathed out slowly.
