I open the main door to see Sofia talking on the phone. She looked startled when she saw me there standing in the hallway. I waved at her and she waved back awkwardly.

I gestured that I will go upstairs to change and she nods. I ran upstairs and quickly change my clothes. I got home earlier than normal because she called me and said she prepared a special dinner for us which made me excited.
