Chapter 10 The months being stuck in prison passed slowly. Winter was a welcome relief from the unusually hot fall. This weather shift appeared as a sign that change was in the wind. My mind drifted back to those freezing walks from the subway to the Pru with a wind tunneling from Boston Harbor through the streets of Boston. All my thoughts became dark and morbid. It didn't help that my trial was scheduled to begin during one of the early sessions of the new year. The day my trial was scheduled to start was cold and snowy. This is when the ultimate indignity happened, it became impossible to sleep.
