Chapter 5
Dominick called me at my office to bring me up to speed on his detective work. His ex- girlfriend had gone back to Mark to get his support and he rekindled their relationship. Dominick also crafted a way to meet Art and struck up a friendship. Dominick explained that he planned to gain Art's confidence to open him up. He hoped that he would get Art to shed light on what he might know about Victor's murder and possible connection to Sally's murder.
I let him know that his success was exciting but warned him to be careful. He laughed saying, "You don't have to worry about me. These guys are nothing compared to Russian spies I have killed."
We chatted a bit more before saying good bye. Sitting back, my thoughts turned to Victor lying dead on the funeral parlor preparation slab.
