Arrogant boss needs taming

Melissa waited for the 7:15 am bus, and constantly kept looking at her time. She was going to be late and she can't afford that. she recently got the job as an assistant to the marketing department manager Mrs Agnes Mattias and since has been diligent and punctual to work. she is independent since her parents divorced when she was 15. She first lived with her mom and a constant visit to her father but things just got worst after high school and since then have lived with her best friend Alice who was orphan. she arrived at where she will walk the rest to the company and sighed that she wasn't going to be late. just as she wanted to cross the intersection she saw a man in suit dragging an old woman rather forcefully. She thought he should be gentle with someone this old woman because old people are weak and she has the most compassion for them. she walked up to them and that was when she saw another man standing in front of a BMW and knew the man was a big shot. "Excuse me but don't pull the old woman this way you are hurting her." The man stopped and looked at her, that was the most icy stare she has ever seen. "Do you enjoy putting your nose where it doesn't belong." His voice was cold and threatening. "Doesn't matter let the woman go." She stood her ground when she saw the grateful smile of the old woman. "Everyone of you is so clumsy, annoying and insulting, poor people have no respect at all, they are all trash." His cold voice said as he threw the woman's hand towards her and wanted to walk back to his car. "Get her out of the way, I have a very important meeting, I can't spend a whole hour watching her cross. Am really gonna knock her down." He couldn't see her fuming face, she was quick to anger and just his simple words of underrating poor people made her want to burst. She was one of this poor people and she can't do nothing when he insult them because he has the money and thinks everything depends on his money. She walked up to him lightly tapped his shoulders and when he turned she slapped him hard across his face, she made sure her anger were poured on that one slap and when it didn't seem to cool her temper she stormed on his foot with hers. "Poor people are not just trash, we don't have manners and can't differentiate good from bad so I really don't know if slapping you is the best option. Rich people are fools you know." She said while walking back to assist the woman out of the way knowing that his eyes were starring dangerously at her. She didn't care for any worst action he was going to take, it won't be more than ordering someone to hit her, someone is nothing to her, she has handled people, let's say men before so she was sure she was going to handle him and his men. She looked back and saw him get into his car and she smiled triumphantly. First win for today. "Thank you so much but slapping him was a bit much." The old woman told her. "It's nothing to worry about, the fact is you are safe and about the slap I always act on impulse but I know how to escape repercussions." "He was really helping me but guess he was just in a bit of hurry." "But he was still arrogant and proud about his money, what's so good about a bunch of money." "My daughter you must be going to work, hurry up." She left after a few pleasantries with her. Because of the little delay she was a bit late to work and Mrs Agnes was already seated. "Melissa you are a bit late today is anything the matter?" "Ran into some money freaking bastard who thinks money is everything. He maltreated this old woman and I had to step in." "Looks like you couldn't stick to your business." Her boss was friendly with her and they share bonds just like mother-daughter. "I can't just stand and watch someone maltreated because she has no strength." "Enough of the talk, this company will soon be acquired and the financial data must be prepared." "Is Mr Anthony tired of our company or is he just short of money." Mrs Agnes stood up. "I wouldn't know but I do know you'll have a hectic day today." Melissa rolled her eyes and smirked. "Not worse than my life already." ************************************* Arthur has had it hard since morning, he first went for a quick inspection in the real estate company he was trying to acquire and then quickly rush to the states for a very important meeting. He was annoyed when the old woman hit the crossroad and walked sluggishly. At first he told his driver to wait till she crossed but she was really killing his time. He ordered his driver to go help her cross faster and he joined her to walk that way which annoyed him more so he had to do it himself till this slender looking woman came buttering in. She was bold he can award her that but slapping him is off limit and insulting. He couldn't handle her just then because he was behind his flights time but that doesn't mean he will let her go Scott free. "Mr Arthur I got a result on the picture you gave me." He had his driver take her picture so he will know who she is and then make her pay for laying her hands on him. He rubbed his red cheeks as he looked at his IT guy. "So tell me who she is." His cold voice answered. "Melissa Melbourne, born 18th December 1996. She works currently at B real estate company." "Does she really work there?" "Yes boss." Though this IT guy lives in the state but the few times he has been with him he can tell of his character and he know very well that the smile on his face right now means someone's life is in great danger and that someone is the pretty lady in the picture, well he don't know since when his boss began to pick on girls, especially sweet looking ones. "Leave!" His powerful voice brought him back to reality as he scuttled out of his office. "Max prepare me a flight the moment this meeting is over tomorrow, I am going to teach someone not to cross just anyone's path."
