Chapter 13 palace?

(Warning: this chapter will be starting in Eclipse’s point of view)

This doesn’t feel right, I feel pain and burning. But why, where is Eloise? I feel my wolf calling for her, trying to direct me to her but the thing is I might get caught if I let out my wolf. “I promised her I would protect her, it doesn’t matter if I am seen” I say this under my breath. That’s it I’m going. I transform into my wolf and follow the magnetism that led me to her that night. The pull feels to bring me down the staircase. I jump off the rail landing on the ground and keep on. I head past the small library that resides in the manor and turn towards the dining room. I look around searching for the next turn. I turn right, to find Eloise’s fathers office. This is where I was being pulled to, Eloise must be inside. I turn back into my human form and slam open the door. The room is dark and lit by the moon. The pain worsens making it feel like small daggers being plunged into the skin of my shoulder, and that is when I look down to see Eloise unconscious on the ground, blood seeping out of her shoulder and a small bit of her head. “DAMN IT!!!!!” I shout in anger for I promised her I will protect her. Yet now I find her bleeding and unconscious upon the ground, to see her father just standing upon the far window peering into the sky. The fact he is just ignoring her pisses me off, I will have to deal with him later for I must help Eloise first. “WHAT THE HELL MR. ENCHANTLYN, WHY WOULD YOU NOT HELP YOUR OWN DAUGHTER WHO IS CURRENTLY BLEEDING!!! I shall deal with you after Eloise awakens” I say this while making the decision to take her to her bedroom to clean her up. carefully, lifting her out of the office and traveling to her room, keeping my feelings of rage hidden while I’m before her. We finally arrive to her quarters and I place her upon her bed and rush to go find a cloth so I can clean the blood. Everyone is asleep right now so I am the only one to find the cloth and tend to Eloise, I head to the bathing quarters and collect the cloth as well as a pail filled with water. I arrive back to Eloise. The blood is slowing but still draining. I pull Eloise to lay in my lap so I can clean off her head and shoulder. I decide to start with the shoulder, I dampen the cloth in the water and lightly start to dap the blood off. I notice that there is glass or ceramic that dug into her skin. I move off to cleaning the blood on her head before I take her off to get help with removing the shards. I notice Eloise's eyes start to open.

The feeling hurts. My head is throbbing, my shoulder too. I feel warm, supported. I try to open my eyes and gather my thoughts. My vision is a bit blurry but I blink a few times to make out what I see. “Eclipse” I raise my hand to his face “thank you” he makes me feel free somehow. Like someone is there for me. Despite the pain, I give in to the urge to hug Eclipse for him actually caring enough to help. I wrap my arms around him and bury my head into his shoulder, unaware that tears started to fall from my eyes. He tightened his grasp around me and pulled me closer “you make me feel safe” I say this in peace. Cmon lets get those shards removed he hoists me up and carries me the rest of the way and places me down as the medical caretaker arrives to the room. I feel a rush of anger but not my own. “Eclipse are you angry?” “Why do you ask?” “tell me please” “Eloise can you tell me who did this to you” I should have expected. “My f-father” I felt hesitant to tell. I felt I should protect my father, though I also don’t wish to endure the anger of yet another tonight. especially when I know Eclipse is capable of taking down a bear. It hurts when he yells at me though, it was like a stab at consciousness when he did. “Are you angry?” I ask this again. Unsure what he might think “yes but not at you, I’m angered by your father for doing this to you” he says this as he brushes a piece of hair from my face “I will be back” he left after saying this. You see, my fathers office is in the next room over so I will be able to tell what is happening. But should I be worried? Suddenly I hear a door slam. The wall muffles the sound making the yelling quieter. “Mr.Enchantlyn what did you throw at her!?! Why would you decide to even resort to that!?!” Eclipse was yelling questions but not leaving room for answers. “Did you really think that was a wise decision?!?! You know what, I will be taking Eloise to the palace. I want to ensure this NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN!!!” Eclipse found a way to break through the muffling of the wall making it pronounced and known of his intentions. “You can't do that, she is my daughter, you two aren't even married yet!!!” “I think you forget who you are talking to, besides if you are that worried I will consult her about pushing forward the dates for the wedding.” So I might have to move to the palace early. . . hopefully I will be able to make amends with Rosaline. I can feel a tear roll down my cheek. I didn't realize the shards from the vase were being removed as I was listening. Eclipse walks in as soon as all the shards were removed and the big cuts were being sutured. “Eloise it hurts doesn't it?” he rushes towards me once he realizes what was being done on my arm and small bit of my head. “Yeah it does” I say as tears fall down my face. “Is the wedding date really going to be pushed forward?” “ah you heard the conversation, how much of it did you hear?” “I think all of it. . .” he takes my hand and sits next to me “well it's good you know what's happening, are you ok with it?” “I think so” I say this just as the sutures are done and my shoulder was just finished being bandaged. Eclipse pulls me into him “you know Eloise I really like you” I feel safe with him, maybe this whole thing won’t be as bad as I had expected.
